Welcome

Hello Friends!

I'm up today on the Technique Junkies blog, and am sharing a pretty home decor item that I made, using beautiful new stamps, Zen Edges and Welcome, from the March release.

Today, I chose to make a piece to put into a photo frame.
I stamped the image and sentiment onto a piece of patterned paper, and edged the sentiment with narrow gold Washi Tape. I ahered a strip of a pretty gold tissue type paper at the top and bottom edges of the focal panel, added some sequins, and framed the finished piece.

Here's what I made:

I think this will look pretty in my entryway!

Anything is Possible

Hello friends!

Today, I'm sharing a pretty card that I made, using a beautiful new stamp from the March release at Technique Junkies.

Today, I chose to work with Blooming Dogwood Blossoms. I thought it would make
a pretty set of cards.

Here's what I made:

First, I stamped Asian Bamboo Garden with black ink onto white cardstock. Then, using Ink Blending Brushes and a few shades of Distress Oxide Inks, I blended over top of the image. Next step was to stamp the sentiment, Anything is Possible (from an older release), and ink blend over it. The sentiment was matted and adhered to the focal panel. The focal panel was adhered to the card base.

These stamps make it easy to create masterpieces!

Small Packages

Hi there!

I'm sharing a beautiful card today that I have created with new stamps, Bundle of Joy, and Small Packages, from Technique Junkies.  The background is an older stamp, Harlequin with Dots.

Here is my card.

The background was stamped with a Kaleidacolor Ink Pad called Baby Powder, and was adhered to the card base. Next, the sentiment was stamped and matted with yellow, and added to the background. Last, 'Small Packages' was stamped, fussy cut, matted onto yellow cardstock, fussy cut again, and popped up onto the background with dimensional dots. To finish this card off, Glossy Accents was applied to the sack!

Another fun, quick and simple card!

I hope you're all well, and I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today!

Slimline Elephant Family

I'm sharing a pretty card today, that I have created with a new stamp, Slimline Elephant Family, from Technique Junkies.

Here is my card:

This was an easy card to create. The image was stamped using Catherine Pooler's Twilight Ink. I couldn't get the photograph to come out true to color. The Twilight stamped onto gray cardstock is a pretty 'pale' gray, but shows up really card here. Likewise, the clouds that I created with A Colorful Life Designs Cloud Edger Stencil, also seem dark and stormy. After about a dozen pics, I had to quit and move on to other things.  I used a sentiment from the set, Five Fab Phrases, from the May 2020 release

I hope you're all well, and I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today!

Those We Love

Hello, friends!

I'm sharing a beautiful card today that I have created with a new stamp, Those We Love, from Technique Junkies.
Here is my card:

Isn't this pretty?  I love the sentiment.
The stamp and sentiment are all in one, so it was a simple matter of stamping onto a white panel, coloring with alcohol markers, matting on 2 shades of purple cardstock, and adhering to a purple card base. Ta-da...Ta-done!

I hope you're all well, and I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today!

Zen Edges

Hello friends!

I'm up today on the Technique Junkies blog, and am sharing a card that I made, using a beautiful new stamp from the March release

Do you like Zen? Then you will love this set!

Today, I chose to work with Zen Edges a two part stamp, and I Believe in You. I think it made a pretty card! Stop back by on the 31st and see my 'non-card' project that I made with this stamp set!

Here's what I made:

The image was stamped on white cardstock in black ink, and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment was stamped in the center, and edged at top and bottom with narrow gold metallic Washi Tape. The focal panel was adhered to a piece of patterned paper, and mounted onto a white card base. Very easy, and eye catching!

Get Well Soon

Hello there!

I'm sharing two beautiful cards today that I have created with new stamps, from Technique Junkies.
Here is my first card.  This card features a brand new stamp Japanese Crane, and an older sentiment from the Simple Sentiments Set 2, Style b.  I stamped the image and sentiment using Catherine Pooler's Twilight Ink. The focal panel was trimmed, matted on gray cardstock, and layered over the card base, and a piece of pretty patterned paper.

In this shot, I laid the card at an angle, to show the pretty gold shine on the designer paper. The image and paper goes together beautifully!

Next up, is a card that I created with another new stamp that I love, Praying Hands. This lovely image could be used for so many occasions! The image was stamped with Catherine Poolers Over Coffee Ink, as was the sentiment, Difficult Time. (This set of 2 sympathy sentiments is wonderful, and stamps beautifully, and is ONLY $5.95 for both stamps!!!) The focal panel was adhered over top of a crinkled brown cardstock, then adhered to the card base.

These were both easy cards to create!

I hope you're all well, and I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today!

Family is Everything

Good morning!

I'm sharing a beautiful card today that I have created with a new background stamp, Asian Bamboo Garden, and a great new sentiment, Family is Everything, from Technique Junkies

Here is my card:

This was a CAS (Clean and Simple) card to create. I found a pretty Embossing Glaze, and a cardstock to match, stamped the image and sentiment with Versamark Ink, then heat embossed. The focal panel was adhered to the card base, and the sentiment was matted and adhered to panel using dimensional foam.

I hope you're all well, and I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today!
