Sunny California!

Hi honeys....I'm home...sort of! We are flying in today. DH came out on Weds., and joined me for the last part of the trip. It's always so much nicer traveling home with my main squeeze next to me!

I spent the last 7 days in California spoiling our uber-handsome grandson out there! He's growing up so fast, and we hate the long distance between us. Seems we only get to see him 2 or 3 times a year, and that makes this granny heart sad.  We played and had a great time, and I'm already looking forward to the next trip out there!

One more post of unseen creations, and I'll stop for a while!  It's good to get them onto the blog, finally, but I hate to make you feel like I'm drowning you in them!

This was granddaughter's card this year for her 5th birthday

And here is her card from her 2nd birthday

All righty, I should be getting back on track shortly!
Hopefully, I've been round to see you, and comment on your beautiful creations!
If not, I'll try hard to do so.

Hugs and smiles,
Patti J.

Anything Goes at The House that Stamps Built!

Happy Wednesday!
Today is a new challenge for Repeat Impressions Stamps.
It’s an 'Anything Goes' challenge at the RI blog, The House that Stamps Built, we hope you will join us!

Three of us on the RI DT (Shirley, Donna, and me) are Chemo Card Angels, so the Cancer stamps are used a lot by us. I decided to use the Cancer ribbon and one of my homemade wreath builder templates and just see what the outcome was. Turned out great!

Here's what I made using these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

8420 D You

I stamped the ribbons and sentiment, and matted the 3" square with a scrap of green cardstock. The pink card base was prettied up with a designer paper scrap, and the focal piece was popped up onto the card base. A little bling finished it up nicely. Remember all that bling we used to 'need'??? This was an easy, peasy, quick card!

Now it’s your turn!
We hope you will create a card that has a focus on today’s challenge, and enter it in our challenge at The House that Stamps Built!  Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them!  Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!
One lucky person this month will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!

Now, it's time to see what my DT friends have created!

Super Cards...

Another Satur-yay of unshared creations!
Hope your week went well, and that you are enjoying your weekend!

Here are some cards that I made for dear granddaughter to send to friends in 2018!

These were some digi images that I purchased online. She was having a Super Hero party!

And, of course, Grandma and Paw-Paw had to get dressed up and join the party!

Have a wonderful week!

Take care,
Patti J.

Inspiration Palette Challenge at The House that Stamps Built

Happy Wednesday!
You know what Wednesday means at Repeat Impressions Stamps!
It’s challenge day at the Repeat Impressions blog, The House that Stamps Built, and we have a new Inspiration Palette Challenge for you. Here is the Inspiration Palette that Wendy gave us this week:

Isn't it pretty?

Can you hear my hyperventilating?
Am I ever, ever going to get over being terrifies of inspiration photo challenges?
lol.....!  Whew....I made it through one more - life is good!

Here's what I made using these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

120201 W Flower Power Background

I heat embossed the background stamp using some Medieval Metals Embossing Powder, and then colored with copic markers. I colored all the flowers, then pulled in the 'stripes' to accent the color palette used.

 And now it’s your turn!

Tic Tac Toe Challenge at The House That Stamps Built

Hi everyone - Happy Wednesday!

I'm back with a new Tic-Tac-Toe challenge for Repeat Impressions.
Here is the inspiration board that Wendy gave us to work with:

I used the left row: By the Sea, Sponging, and Dimension

Today, I used this Repeat Impressions Stamp:

Here's what I made:

My sponging was a bit different today. Rather than sponge a scene, or sky, I sponged color directly onto my stamp using some pretty Distress Oxide Ink.  The dimension was achieved by stamping the image an additional 4 times, cutting out 4 starfish, and popping them up on the card. One on the top left square, and three on the lower right square.

Now it’s your turn! Create a card using the Tic-Tac-Toe board above, and link it up at The House that Stamps Built. Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them! Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!

Check out my sidebar to see how you can save money on your RI orders!

Now, it's time to see what my fellow Rock Stars have created!

Me again...more stuff to share!

Oh my....ya'll are going to get SO tired of these pre-scheduled posts!
Thanks so much for your patience with me. Sure am loving these babies!

Made this with Graphic 45 papers...they are so yummy!

Cased this one, but can't remember where it came from!

I never think to use orange....but I need to - it's such a happy color!

Made this one at a Card and Cuppa with Sally

My good friend, Pam Sparks sent me the little pieces for this one, and I made it for dear granddaugher, who absolutely LOVES shoes, glitter, and the color pink!

Have a wonderful week, dear friends!
See you soon,

Patti J.

Designer's Choice Challenge at The House that Stamps Built!

Happy 1st Wednesday in SEPTEMBER! ??!

It's time for another Repeat Impressions Stamps challenge at The House that Stamps Built, and we have a new Designer’s Choice Challenge for you. Our hostess for the month is Esther, and she has challenged us to use 'A New Technique' on our creations! Please join us in our challenge, and create something using the theme: "A New Technique".

Here's what I made using this Repeat Impressions Stamp:

For my card, I tried a technique that was new to me. I had never, ever tried inking an embossing folder! So....what better time to learn? I inked up the front side of the embossing folder, gently spritzed it with water, added my cardstock panel, and ran it through my Big Shot, to emboss it. All what was left to do was add it to a card base, bling it up a bit, and add the sentiment! Voila! Easy and elegant look!

 And now it’s your turn!
We hope you will create a card that has a focus on today’s DCC theme, and enter it in our challenge at The House that Stamps Built!  Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them!  Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!

Another Saturday post of forgotten creations!

Hi all!

Having a great time - love spending time with these babies!
Hope you are all having a nice Satur-yay!

I think that all of these cards were made 2 years ago (I know...shame on me!) at a Girl's Day In. Several of us crafty friends try to get together periodically, and each of us brings a project to create. I'll probably get it wrong, but I'll try to remember who created what!

Cheryl taught us how to make these cuties!

These were taught by Diane

This was taught by Donna

Marian taught us this one

I taught this one

Sally taught this one

And Shirley taught this one - we had our choice!

Happy weekend, dear friends!!!

Hugs,
Patti J.

Scor-Pal Challenge - Stylish Storage

Hello, everyone!

August is already upon us, and soon the kids will be going back to school - egads! Time sure flies when you are having fun!

This is my second post today. If you are looking for my 2 Crafty Critter Crazies post, just scroll up!
The monthly challenge at Scor-Pal, is Stylish Storage (pen holder, utensil carrier, etc), and Katie Tate is our challenge hostess. Of course, our projects must include more than one fold.

I created a fun collection of boxes within a box, and I hope you like it as much as I do! I am amazed at how much I can get into this organizational system.

For my project, I used: Scor-Pal Eighths, Scor-Tape 1.2", and Scor-Tape 1/4".

Here is the box...

Another view...

One more view...

Here's where they are all individual boxes! Pretty cool, right?

Crazy fun, right? Now...I wish I could take full credit for this amazing design, but I can't. Sam Hammond (Pootles) designed this, and you can watch her instructional video HERE.

We hope to see your creations this month our 'More Than One Fold', Scor-Pal challenge!

We also have a ton of inspiration in the Projects section of the Scor-Pal website and also on our Pinterest Board to help you get creative!

Happy Scoring!
Patti J.
