Warmest Holiday Wishes

Hi there! Happy Christmas Eve from all of us at Technique Junkies!

It's my day to post on the Technique Junkies Design blog, and I'd like to share a fun card that I created, using Gnomies Forever , Christmas Tree Sextuplet, and a sentiment from Gnome for Christmas.

This is a box card, and seemed like a perfect fit for these sweet gnomes! Using Copic markers, the images  were colored for Christmas. I found some buffalo check designer paper on Etsy, and printed out what I needed for the box. Someone VERY special received this card for Christmas!

Here is a photo of the trees and their background, which was created with some Distress Oxide Inks, Ink Blending Brushes, and the Cloud Edger Stencil. If you don't have this stencil, you really need it! Be sure to watch Pat Huntoon's videos - she even has one that uses the stencil to do camouflage!

Here's a shot showing the card folded flat for mailing. (Due to the overhang of the tree, this will be mailed in a larger than A2 envelope).

Baby, it's cold!

Hi there! I have a fun snowman card to share with you today.

This card uses Technique Junkies 'SD966 Snowman', and A Colorful Life Stencil, 'Baby It's Cold'.

The snowman was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. A bit of coloring with Copic markers, and highlighting with a white gel pen, and this image was ready for fussy cutting! I stenciled on a white panel, added the snowman with pop dots, and put a few gemstones on snowflakes for bling.

I think this turned out well! I can't resist a cute snowman - how about you?

Did you know that Technique Junkies is having an Inventory Reduction sale? Don’t miss out on these limited-time discounts.  Ready for a bargain?  There are 300 stamps on sale!  You can see the sale items here. These selected in-stock items are 35% off through December 15th.  The sale will only last 2 weeks, and supplies are limited, so act fast.
We need to reduce our in-stock items – wonderful stamps from our booth stock and more! As we redesign our booth for the coming year, you benefit! This sale is limited to in-stock inventory. No wholesale orders, please.
Select any item from the 35% discount category and it will be discounted automatically at checkout.

This card is a 6" x 6" easel card, and features a beautiful retiring set, 'Wreath Wishes', and a new Technique Junkie Stencil, 'Champagne Flutes'.  After cutting the black panel to size, I placed the stencil over the panel, and applied Versamark Ink. I quickly sprinkled on some gold embossing powder, and used my heat gun to get this beautiful shine. Next, I stamped sentiment and, embossed it it gold. Last, I stamped the wreath, embossed it in gold, and cut it in half. Half was used to hold up the easel, and the other half was cut in half and added to the top edges of the card.

Here is a side view.

Here is a view of the card opened. The sentiment is mounted using dimensional foam, and holds the card front up nicely.

This card shows another way to use the Wreath Wishes set. For this card, I've also used the Technique Junkies' Shining Star Stencil.

Be sure to check out the sale! There are LOTS of things that you will 'need'!

Here is a close up to show how I accented all the flowers with Glossy Accents.

This is such a delightful set - grab it before it's sold out!

My choice was the top row: Ribbon, Candy, Glitter.

Christmas Dove

Hi there! I have a pretty Christmas card to share with you today.

This card uses Technique Junkies 'Christmas Dove'.

The focal panel was stamped using a blue ink pad. After it dried, I added a bit of sparkle.

I think these turned out beautifully! If you don't own this stamp, you should add it to your collection!

Lots to share!

Hello, crafty friends!

Here's a card that I created using two of the stamps that are on sale, 'A Little Birthday Wish', and 'Flourished Floral'.

As December is an 'anything goes' month for the design team, I decided to create with this cute stamp 'You Stole My Heart'.  I also used the 'Heart Fade Stencil', 'Ink Blending Brushes', and 'Stardust Heat Transfer Foil'. Isn't he just the cutest?

This image just shows all of his sparkle and gloss...we can't resist a cute, sparkly, glossy puppy, right?

I have one more card to share. This is another great stamp that had not yet seen ink, 'Just a Hug'.
This was stamped in Versamark, and heat embossed with a pretty blue embossing powder from my OLD stash. The focal panel was stenciled using the Ink Blending Brushes, and the 'Technique Junkies Shining Star Stencil'. The edges of the panel were inked, then the panel was adhered to the card base, and stenciled again, so that the card base was included in the stenciling.

Technique Junkies products make such great cards!
