Pumpkin Spice...Nice!

Hello!

Here I am today, with another creation made using the adorable new release Strawberry Jude Stamps set 'Falling with Fox & Raccoon'.  What fun these little critters are, and oh my goodness, these stamps created such great, crisp images!

Here's the center step card that I made:

First, the images were all stamped and colored with alcohol markers. The sentiment and mugs were stamped on a scrap of white card stock, and trimmed for a cute banner.  After coloring everything, I fussy cut them, and added a bit of Glossy Accents to the mugs, eyes, and feet, and set aside to dry.

I created the step card from white cardstock, and added some designer paper panels from some scraps.  Added a couple of little hills along the bottom edge, again using some scraps.

A tree die that I had in my stash seemed perfect for a background, and perfect for all of the falling leaves.  Last, everything was adhered to the card using some glue dots and liquid glue.

Thanks again to the crew at Strawberry Jude Stamps for having me as a guest designer this month.  They were all warm, welcoming, and helpful, and I've so enjoyed working with this product! If you haven't gone to see their darling stamps, you should!

Have a great day!

Peppermint Candy Treat Box

Good morning!

Today, I'm sharing a cute candy box made with one of the fun files at The Cutting Cafe.
This box can be filled with all sorts of little mints. I didn't have any peppermints, so I used some life saver mints.

I'm using the 'Peppermint Candy Treat Box'.  I've used the PDF version. All pieces were cut out by hand.  No cutting machine? No worries!  Just grab your scissors, print your pieces and have fun cutting!

The Cutting Cafe has a LOT of fun files and inspiration, and the holidays are just around the corner!  Regina has projects for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas that are sure to bring smiles to recipients!

Here's what I made using the 'Peppermint Candy Treat Box':

Happy Fall Y'all!

Hi everyone!  I'm so happy to be guest designing for Strawberry Jude Stamps this month.  I was really excited to get this set of stamps - it's my first set of animal stamps!

I had purchased a set of stamps from Strawberry Jude about a month ago, and was very impressed with their stamping.  The image was crisp and clear, and I was eager to try another set. Again, the ink coverage was perfect!

Here's what I made:

This card was made using the new release set 'Falling with Fox & Racoon'.

To begin, I colored the sweet fox and racoon images with alcohol markers, and fussy cut them.  A drop of Glossy Accents was added to their eyes, and they were set aside to dry.  Then, using some distress inks and a handmade cloud stencil, some clouds were added to the upper part of the card base. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Black Ink.  I took a piece of woodgrain cardstock, and added some snips at the top, to create a cute fence, which was adhered to the card base with dimensional foam.  The last step was to add the leaves by adhering them directly to the fence, and the critters, which were popped up with some dimensional foam.

What a fun card this is - I can't make up my mind who to mail it to!

Thanks to everyone at Strawberry Jude Stamps for the warm welcome this month!  If you haven't checked out their adorable stamps, please do so!!  I'll be back in a week or so with a fun 'spicy' creation!

Howdy, ya'll!

Thought I'd pop in today with a card that I made for the monthly challenge

The challenge this month is to use the 'Transitional Ombre' technique on your project.
You can see the original tutorial for this technique HERE.

Here's what I made:

As soon as I saw this stamp, I knew that I 'needed' it! Anyone that has met our Sophie dog can relate!  She's a pound puppy, and is as roly poly as they come, and she looks just like this dog!
And...I can only imagine the fur that would fly, should we happen to bring home a cat!

Anyhow,I hope this is okay - I've never used this technique!

I used this Technique Junkie product:

I had fun today creating 'just because'!

Hope you're having a good week. I've had the 'creepin' crud', but I think I'm about
to turn a good corner.

Have a great evening,

Patti J.

Today, I'm using a fun file, the 'Candy Corn Treat Box Card'.  I've used the PDF version. All pieces were cut out by hand.  No cutting machine? No worries!  Just grab your scissors, print your pieces and have fun cutting!

Scor-Pal Treat Holder

It's time for a new monthly challenge at Scor-Pal!

This month, the challenge was to create a Treat Holder.

With Halloween in a few weeks, I thought it would be fun to make a box to hold a yummy treat...Russell Stover, my favorite!

Here's what I made, using my Scor-Pal Eighths1/2" Scor-Tape, and 1/4" Scor-Tape:

This photo shows the closed box, all tied up and ready for 'gifting'.

Here, you can see the box untied, and opened, with a cute window to let the treat peek through.

Now, the treat slides out the side...what fun!

Finally, here's a shot of the 'drawer'.

Thanks for stopping by today!

I hope that you'll make a Treat Holder to share with us this month, and enter it in the 'More than one fold' 'Treat Holder' challenge at Scor-Pal

If we have 10 or more entries, a winner is chosen randomly, and that winner gets to shop in the Scor-Pal online store!  It could be YOU!!!

Have a great September!!!
