You are Special

Hi there!
There's a new sketch challenge up today at the Repeat Impressions blog, The House that Stamps Built. Wendy, the RI owner, is honestly the Queen of sketches!

Here is today's sketch:

Now, you all know what a rebel I am.
Rarely do I use a sketch 'as is'.
I decided to flip this one - here's what I created,
using Repeat Impressions '1703-J Bird's Nest Branch',
2617-D Tiny Bird (flight), and '8608-D Special'.

A very sweet blogging friend, Taunya, sent me some beautiful doilies a few weeks ago.
Wondering what would happen if the shape were changed, I ran this one through my Cuttlebug, using the same oval die as the focal image.  End result?  I like it!!!  How about you?

If you'd like to own these, or other beautiful RI stamps, hurry over and check out the Repeat Impressions store!  Be sure to use the coupon on my sidebar to save 10% on each and every order!

We'd love to see YOUR beautiful projects linked up to our challenge!
Nab this fun sketch, get creative, and link up at The House That Stamps Built!
You don't have to use RI stamps to play along,
but if you do, you'll be entered twice!

It's time to see what my Fellow Rock Stars have created with this sketch!

Happy hopping!

Thanks for dropping by,
Patti J.

Leave it to you to bring a new twist to an old favorite! I love what you did with the doily...never thought of that one but I'm going to remember it and give it a try some time. Love how you gave us "spring" in the middle of snow and winter!!! And love how you flipped the sketch....great job, my sweet friend.

Thanks for the shout out, Patti!! I want you to know that YOU ARE SPECIAL!!! This card is such a breath of fresh air, a touch of Spring during a dreary winter!! But the way you have used your own creative instincts on this card just amaze me - your pattern papers are so perfect for your colored image and YES I am very impressed with the way you used that doily!!! What an amazing sketch - I think I might have to play with it!!! Thanks for being so awesome!!! Have an incredibly good day!!!
