Birthday Bash!

Good morning!
I think I must be dreaming again - how lucky I am...

For the month of August, I will be guest designing for Great Impressions Stamps!
Great Impressions was actually one of the very first stamps that I used many years ago,
when I was becoming so hopelessly addicted to this hobby.  It's fun to be
working with them again!

Today begins the monthly challenge at the Great Impressions Blog
The theme for August is 'Birthday Bash'.
Here's what I created:

I used Lilly's Garden Time SKU #H10 for my card.

Here is the card opened up.  The sentiment is Bouquet of Wishes  SKU #D456

Here is a shot of the 'card' opened.

This fun little card is only 2" wide.  I used a punch on each end, and created an easel card.
She's already been mailed to our church secretary!

We'd love to see you join us for the August challenge!
Be sure to check out the challenge rules - you need not use a Great Impressions stamp to enter!

Hope to see you there,

Patti J.

P.S. While out and about, be sure to 'Like' the Great Impressions' Facebook page, and follow the Great Impressions Blog!  The inspiration is incredible - what a talented group of designers they are!!!

Amazing Papers!

Happy Saturday!
Sure hope that your 4th was safe, and happy.

I was so lucky, to be chosen as a Guest Designer for The Paper Loft in June.
For those of you who know me well, June very nearly did me in.
I'm not sure I've ever had & survived a month quite like it!

The folks at The Paper Loft were so understanding and kind - they've allowed me
to go ahead and finish up my projects...so here are the last of my Paper Loft
creations:

This card would be perfect for that special daughter in your life.  All papers are from the 'Truly Scrumptious' Collection.  I've also used the 'Beautiful Girl' Accessory Sheet.  Twine is from my stash.  Mats are made using my Perfect Papercrafting Mini Rulers (Check out my sidebar for details!)

For that man in your life, this paper collection is wonderful!  This is from 'The Great Outdoors' Collection. Another 5-10 minute card!  Honest!

'On the Go' is this fun collection.  LOVED these paper patterns! The sentiment is cut from the 'Happy' Accessory Sheet.  The perfect mat is created with my Perfect Layers Mini Rulers! (See sidebar for details).

Last but not least...here's another fun card made with the 'Truly Scrumptious' Collection.  The sentiment is from the 'Birthday' Accessory Sheet.  To give you an idea, this sheet has EIGHTEEN words, pictures, etc., and the cost is ONE dollar!  Where can you beat ONE dollar?

This shows the card opened up.

If you have never ordered any of this beautiful Paper Loft paper, please give it a try!  It FEELS divine, it works up so beautifully, it's all double sided, and each collection has it's own accessory sheets - you
can truly have an awesome, 5-10 minute card!  I will certainly be ordering from them in the future!

You can follow The Paper Loft Blog HERE!!!
Be sure to take part in their challenges!  YOU could be their next Guest Designer!!!

Have a great day, and a nice weekend,
I'll be back on Monday with a fun creation for Die-Versions' newest release!

Smiles,
Patti J.

Summertime with The Paper Loft

Hello, hello!
It's Friday, and it's officially summertime tomorrow, so I thought I would welcome the season
with a fun card that's all about summer.

Last month, I was honored to be selected to Guest Design for The Paper Loft.
To be honest, I had not heard of their company until a friend became a DT member. Thanks to Debbie Seyer directing me to their store and blog, I entered the monthly challenge, and here I am.

Here is the card all closed up, neat and tidy!

All of you know me well enough to know that I won't endorse a product, unless I really like it.
This cardstock is beautiful.  Truly beautiful!
The collections are so nice, and the accessory sheets are just too much fun.  They make card making or scrapbooking so easy, and the products are very reasonably priced!  This card is entirely
created from the cardstock collection "Island Sun".
Check it out at The Paper Loft - you will love it!

Met up with some stamping friends last night, and this was one of the fun cards that we made.  You can find instructions HERE - just do a search for Pull Out Card.  Also used my Perfect Papercrafting Mini Rulers to get this perfect mat for the sunshine.  Check out my sidebar for details!

Side view - what fun!!!

Had to show you the back so you could see the yummy 'other' side of this pretty paper!

I've also been enjoying the Paper Loft Blog - there is inspiration galore!

Thanks for stopping by!
I have lots of Paper Loft goodness lying in wait - will be back soon to share
another fun collection!

Happy Weekend,
Patti J.

Ten...

Happy Tuesday!

Do you think summer's every going to get here?  Each time I think we're getting closer, here comes another cold spell - one is due to come through here Wednesday evening.  Bah.

Anyhoo....thanks for stopping by!  Today's card is for the Paper Loft Challenge.  It's
always a sketch challenge, and here's what I made:

I used papers from the Everyday Life and In the Zone collections. It was a lot of fun to cut out pieces and pop them up. The sunburst is an Amuse Studio Stamp, and the sentiment is an old wooden Stampendous stamp.  I thought this would be fun for a 10 year old boy!

And...here's the sketch!

Yikes - this was a tough one - guess that's why they call it a challenge, right?
Would be a great page layout, wouldn't it?

Get out your Paper Loft Papers, and head over to enter.
As of yesterday, there were no entries yet, and the challenge is over at the end of May.
You could win $30 in product AND a guest designer spot!

Have a great day,
Patti J.

Baby...

Hello!
Sorry for being MIA this week - lightning took out a port in my computer, and I'm trying to get it repaired. Have relied fully on my IPad, and as you know, it's really hard to do a full blog post from there!
I've been wanting to do the challenges at The Paper Loft (they have such delicious papers!) for quite some time, and I think I'm sliding in just in time! The challenge ends tomorrow.  It is sketch challenge PLS17 - you can see the sketch below.  I needed a baby card for a little boy baby, and found this adorable stamp while shopping with friends the other day.  Couldn't wait to paper piece it!  Be sure to check out the beautiful items at The Paper Loft!!! You'll be glad you did :)
Here's my card:

Supplies: The Paper Loft Everyday Life & In the Zone, Woodware Baby Patch Elephant...of course, I used my Perfect Paper Crafting Mini Rulers to get the nice mat behind the elephant! See my sidebar for details!

And here is the sketch:

Hope that you are all doing well this week. It's a pretty day here in Missouri,
at least until more storms come zipping through!

Thanks for dropping by,
Patti J.
