Sketch Challenge at The House that Stamps Built

Hi there crafty friends - Happy Wednesday!

I'm back with a new Sketch challenge for Repeat Impressions.
Here is the sketch that Wendy gave us to work with:

I had fun with this sketch - flipped it, and used a cross die rather than a circle!
Hope you like it!

Today, I used this Repeat Impressions Stamp:

Here's what I made:

Now it’s your turn! Create a card using the sketch above, and link it up at The House that Stamps Built. Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them! Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!

Mix and Match at Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Anything But a Card...

Hello, my creative friends!

I'm pleased to share my last Blue Knight Rubber Stamps project with you today.

I've really enjoyed working with this team, and using the Blue Knight products. It's always sad to see a guest design spot come to a close! Thank you Michelle, Lynn, and everyone who made me feel welcome!

Again, the October theme is Mix 'n Match - we are to use one or more stamps from at least two stamp sets, and today's project assignment is 'Anything But a Card'!

I made this little gift for someone special, who came into my life when I didn't even know I needed her!  I hope it brings a smile to her day.

The images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored with a handful of Copic Markers. I used these Blue Knight Rubber Stamps products:

Hope you like it, and are inspired to check out the blog (link below) for more inspiration from the design team!

Pick of the Week at The House that Stamps Built!

Hello there!

It's my day to share a Pick of the Week at The House that Stamps Built. The Repeat Impressions Stamps that I picked to showcase are:

Here is my project...some fun but clean and simple treats for Thanksgiving:

Let's get started!

You will need one piece of cardstock measuring 5.25" x 2.25" for your candy 'tray'.
With the short edge at the top of your score board, score at 3/8" one each outside edge.

You will need a second piece of cardstock that measures 5" x 2".
With the long side at the top of your score board, score at 2.5"

On the 5" x 2" piece, decide which is the front, and begin stamping as desired. I used a Kaleidacolor ink pad with my Repeat Impressions Stamps, and a bit of Washi tape to decorate mine.

Now, it's time to wrap 5 nugget candies. The wraps are cut from patterned paper, and measure 3.25" x 1".  I just used my tape runner on the back and wrapped them up!

Put a glue dot on the bottom of each wrapped nugget, and place it on the 'tray'.

When your tray is full, slide it into a 2" wide plastic bag. I get mine at Hobby Lobby or Wal-Mart.

You'll need to fold the plastic bag down a bit for the 'cover' to fit right.  I used Scor-Tape on my 'cover' so that it would stick nicely over the plastic sleeves.

Ta-da!

Won't these be pretty at your dinner table on Thanksgiving Day?
Or...teacher gifts, postman, UPS driver, Wal-Mart checker, someone you meet in town that looks sad...the possibilities are endless!

Hope you will give this a try - it really is easy, makes such a fun project, and is a great way to use those scraps of cardstock and yummy paper that we tend to save ration hoard!!!

For this week only (10-28-19 through 11-3-19)), get 20% Off the stamps used in Patti’s creation above when you use the coupon code POTW102819.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs and blessings,

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Mix and Match

Hello, my creative friends!

I'm pleased to share another Blue Knight Rubber Stamps project with you today.

I'm really enjoying these stamps! Wowzers!!! They stamp so precisely - gotta love well made stamps!

Again, the October theme is Mix 'n Match - we are to use one or more stamps from at least two stamp sets!

I am a part of a group that tries to meet once a year. We each bring a project, and there are 6 of us. So we start crafting about 9 a.m., break for lunch, and create all afternoon! It's a great time, and we make 6 fun projects. We also give each other little 'gifts', which is SO much fun! I chose to gift the ladies with a pretty Christmas die, but needed a way to gift wrap it.

I had these Kraft envelopes in my stash, and decided to see how they would look stamped and colored. The images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored with a handful of Copic Markers. I used these Blue Knight Rubber Stamps products:

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Mix 'n Match Take Two!

Hello, my creative friends!

I'm excited to share another Blue Knight Rubber Stamps project with you today.

Seriously, you've got to check out these stamps! Wowzers!!! They stamp beautifully the first time! No reinking these babies - they are etched so nicely!

Again, the theme for the month of October is Mix 'n Match - we are to use one or more stamps from at least two sets!

I made a card using these Blue Knight Rubber Stamps products:

For this card, I began with a piece of patterned paper, and stamped the flowers and Swallowtail using Versamark ink, and some Medevial Metals embossing powder. These were colored with Copic Markers, and sponged around using my make up brushes (still trying to get the hang of them...old dog, new tricks, right?). The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Black Ink. This sentiment is from the same set as the funny one I used last week. It's a great sent of words! Hope you like it, and are inspired to check out the blog (link below) for more inspiration from the design team!

Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge...

Hi everyone - Happy Wednesday!

I have two posts up today - if you are looking for my Blue Knight Rubber Stamps post, scroll down (up?)...thanks!!!

It's time for a new Tic-Tac-Toe challenge for Repeat Impressions.
Here is the inspiration board that Wendy gave us to work with:

I used Wildlife, Texture, and Stencil

Today, I used these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

4221 K Deer Family Silhouette

Here's what I made:

Wildlife is self-explanatory! The stencil, you can see in the background. For my texture, I tried cutting this pretty die from felt, burlap, and a few other things, but it's just not deep enough to cut through. SO....I winged it!  I glued toilet paper (un-used!) to a piece of thin cardstock, and sponged it all up in fallish colors.  Then, I die cut it and glued it on my background.
Not too crazy about the end result, but I'm working with a dead brain today, so it's got to be 'okay'!

Now it’s your turn! Create a card using the Tic-Tac-Toe board above, and link it up at The House that Stamps Built. Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them! Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!

Check out my sidebar to see how you can save money on your RI orders!

AND...last but not least ...
NOTICE:
Repeat Impressions is clearing out their show inventory. So while they last,
they have very limited quantities of 100's of designs of Wood Mount Stamps available at 35% OFF...
Priced less than their cling mount stamps!

Inventory will be added and updated daily so check back often for design availability. Priced as shown, no coupon code needed. As show stock is depleted the various wood mount stamps will return to their regular prices so get them before they're gone.

Now, it's time to see what my fellow Rock Stars have created!
