Blogaversary!

Wow!

Can you believe that my blog will soon be 8 years old?

On October 2nd, I will have been blogging for 8 years.

I will have posted at least 1,445 posts - yikes!

Some of you have been with me from the get-go, offering encouragement when needed, 

offering kind words about creations that were not deserving (hee hee),

but mostly, offering friendships.

I feel so blessed...

Paper Crafting and blogging have brought so many of you into my life that I'd never

have had a chance to know otherwise.

I have friends in nearly every country, and nearly every state in the US.

When we travel, my hubby tries very hard to be sure that I get to meet a fellow paper crafter.

My very dearest friend was my paper crafting teacher in the beginning.

I remember eight years ago, getting my very first blog follower, and it is so humbling

to know that there are so many of you that want to take time from your busy days

to drop by and see what I've been up to.

Thank you to each of you!

Heather's Happy Birthday Challenge at The House...

I hope you are enjoying your week - Happy Wednesday!

It’s challenge day at The House that Stamps Built, and we have a great Designer’s Choice Challenge for you. RI Rock Star, Heather, is hosting and has a wonderful theme challenge for us. Please join in our challenge, and create something using the theme:

"Happy Birthday".

Here's what I made using these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

For this card, I scored some random lines, and swiped an ink pad over my front panel.

Then I colored in some of the lines and added a bow. The inside gifts were colored

with copics.  Easy!!!

Today, I'm sharing another easy Christmas card that I created with products 

from Crafter's Companion.

A little bit of coloring, a bit of Washi tape, and some pretty Shimmer Cardstock, and voila!

I wish you could see the sparkle that these Sparkle Pens have!

I colored the entire image, and the two blue strips at the top and bottom of

focal panel with the Sparkle Pens, and it's just so pretty in real life!
