Glad THAT is over!!!

Yep, talking about the election.
Some of us are jumping up and down, ecstatic with the results.
Others of us are feeling pretty low and sad at the results.
Thank goodness, we have 4 years before another one!

I guess by now, you've realized that from October to January, will be just catch up, lost and found, etc., for me! When I get back in January, I'll be trying to figure out a way to purge some of my stash. We are both getting to the age where we need less stuff, and both of us have pretty serious health issues, so there's that. Anyway, if any of you know of a good site to sell on, please let me know. So far, it looks like I'd have a tough time recouping postage if I sell on one of the Facebook groups - let me know if you have ideas!

Here we go - today's stash...

The first two cards are made using this super fun set from Unity Stamps. Aren't they fun?

One of my best friends needed 3 cards for siblings that had just lost their mother. The mom always said 'Peace Out'. Mynn Kitchen helped me with the peace out panel - thank you Mynn! The stamping in the background was done with a set I found on the sale rack at Hobby Lobby for $2.49. It was totally perfect for these cards! Rumor has it that the kids enjoyed getting them.

Stampin'Up! products and 2 strips of red and white dotted Washi Tape.

I think we did this one at a Card and Cuppa class - so...this has to be Stampin'Up! products (I think...)

That's all I have for today!

Thanks for letting me clear out some photo files - whew....

Enjoy your first weekend post election - I'm planning to B.R.E.A.T.H.E. for the first time in many months!

Patti J.

Happy November!

Wow, another calendar page has turned! It's been a pretty fall, but not quite as colorful as some, due to the lack of rain.  Hope you are all well, and that you had a fun Halloween!

Here are a few more 'lost and found' items to share!

We have girl's day in, now and then, and we all bring a card kit for each person there.

This cute card was designed by my bestie, Shirley Hotop, and created by me!

Inside of card:

This one is from Crackerbox Stamps, I think! Isn't it adorable?

The next two were made one day, while creating at my bestie's house. She and I have a great time getting inky!  All Stampin' Up! products.

Stampin' Up! papers

Very quick Valentine's card. Hmmm....no memory of who, what, or where.

Thanks for popping in! I'm going to do my best to keep 'something' popping up here, while we are in CO getting hubby's radiation!

Hugs,
Patti J.

Hello friends!

Hello friends!

I'm back with a few more 'lost and found' photos to share with you. Give me a shout out if you need more info than I have time to share, and I'll try to help you out!!!

Another fun Ruth Petsel card!!!

I can't remember! Maybe card and cuppa? Sigh...

One more Stampin'Up! kitty card...

This was a mystery package from Sally McDonald at a Card and Cuppa get together. She gave us each 'scraps' of this and that, and we were to make a card, and she would give us a discount on our next Stampin' Up! order. How cool is that?

This was way too much fun! It's a Unity stamp set, and I totally love it!

Ugh, another one I don't remember, but it is definitely Stampin' Up! products!!!

Thanks for dropping by!!! We are about to begin radiation treatments - wish us well! Hoping this makes my handsome man well, and he can finally begin to enjoy his retirement!!!

Hugs to all,
Patti J.

One week later...

Well, here I am again!

I have a few more 'blasts from the past' to share with you. I probably have enough of these to keep me posting all winter long!!!

Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs,
Patti J.

These were all created in a card class that one of my very favorite people, Ruth Petsel, taught.

Isn't she talented??? We have a great time gathering together as lovers of all things paper!

Enjoy your weekend - I'll be back next week!

Crazy Days here!

Hello everyone!

I'm going to attempt to post a few blogs here and there, but won't have time to link products or explain techniques. Our winter is going to be full of scans, tests, Dr. appointments, radiation appointments for hubby, and lots of grandkid hugs for us both!

Thanks for your patience the last few months - I've gotten into my craft room very little. Hoping that improves toward the end of January, but until then, it's a wild ride for us!!!

Here are a few cards that will hopefully bring a smile or two!

Made this one for some friends that we know, who moved into a new home last Christmas...

Next up, is one that I created when our dear grand-dog Rosie crossed the Rainbow Bridge...

The next three are made with Stampin' Up! supplies.

Hope you're getting inky!!!

Hugs and smiles,
Patti J.

Beautiful Trees

Hello out there!

Hope you are all enjoying the slightly cooler days! Personally, I like the heat, but I
know I'm definitely in the minority!

I thought I'd share several cards made from stamps in the September release

First up, is a card made with Bare Branches as the background, and a sentiment
from Beautiful Trees popped up on the focal panel. I love the simplicity of
this card!

The next card uses the same two stamp sets.

This card was created with Hillside Pines (an older stamp), and a sentiment from
Beautiful Trees. I inked the tree stamp, then spritzed it with water, so that the
trees faded out a bit.

Next up, the Bare Branches was stamped onto a sheet of designer paper with an ombre
pattern, using Versamark Ink, so that the branches look like a shadow.
I like the looks of the almost translucent branches! The sentiment

Last up is a super easy card.
I simply found a piece of pretty designer paper, and adhered it to a card base.
The sentiment, from Beautiful Trees, was stamped onto the designer paper in a coordinating
ink color, and a bow was added to the panel.

Hope you saw something that triggered you to stamp today!

I'm happy you stopped by, hope to see you soon!

Whoop!

Whoop! Here I am with another fun card from the Technique Junkies September release!

I have a super-fun card to share today!

I used the new release stamp, Whoop, for this creation. I chose a fun die to
compliment the sentiment, then stamped the sentiment in a fun green ink.
The circle was adhered to a card base on top of a panel of colorful
designer paper.

Doesn't this one truly make you happy?

Small Creatures

Today, I'm here to share a couple of fun cards made with some new Technique Junkies stamps.
 I think you'll enjoy them!

This first card uses the Squirrel on Branch image, and the Small Creature sentiment stamps.
The image was stamped onto white cardstock, colored with Copic markers, and fussy
cut. I did a bit of color blocking in monotone fashion for this one, and popped the image
up with foam dots for some dimension. I take lots of joy in feeding the squirrels here
in Missouri, so this one was special to me!

Next up is one of God's little critters that I personally think is 'so ugly he's cute'...lol!
Look at this little face, and those wee short legs! How cute ??? is that?
To create this card, the Hedgehog stamp was used for the card front. Inside,
I used a sentiment from the Beautiful Trees set.

Hope that these cards gave you a bit of happy today!

I'll be back in a couple of days with a few more shares from the Sept. release!

This card uses the Halloween Doodles background stamp. The images were colored with Copic Markers. The sentiment is Wicked Halloween. It was stamped onto vellum, and stapled to the focal panel.

Halloween Doodles was used on this card, as well, but was stamped in black ink onto Kraft Cardstock.

This card was made using Ghosties Night background stamp. Easy Peasy! Stamped with Versamark Ink, and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Ta-da, Ta-done!

I used Ghosties Night for this fun card. I stamped the images onto white cardstock, then fussy cut them, and hid them behind the 'die windows'. Another super easy card! The sentiment was die cut letters.

For this card, I stamped Burst in black ink, then ink blended some color on the focal panel. Wicked Halloween was then stamped onto white cardstock, and I did some stenciled dots over top of the sentiment, using A Colorful Life Designs stencil.

Leaves and Dragonflies Background stamp was used for this card. I stamped it with Versamark Ink, and heat embossed it with white powder. I grabbed my Medeival Medals embossing powder, stamped & heat embossed Mile on My Broom onto a gray circle. Lots of ink blending was done on this card.

Last, but not lease was this cute card! First, I used gray ink, and stamped Brickwork for my focal panel. Witch Switch was then stamped toward the bottom of the panel (the two bats are on the stamp). I cut out a few bats from glitter paper, and glued them toward the top. Then I grabbed a scrap of cheesecloth, and distressed it with some dark ink, and stuck it behind the focal panel. For the card base, I began with white cardstock, and used a stencil (A Colorful Life Designs) and some witchy green ink.

Check out the other members of the TJ Design team to see what spooky treats they have to share!!!
