Today's cards were all created with one new sentiment set, Bold Birthday Wishes. This is a great birthday set of 8 bold, fun greetings. Hope that you enjoy them!

For this card, Happy Birthday, from Bold Birthday Wishes was stamped in black ink onto a turquoise card base. Next, I masked off the center, then stenciled with ink the same color as the card base, using the Faded Petals stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I finished this one off with some 1/8" Washi Tape, and an additional sentiment from the Bold Birthday Wishes set under the Happy Birthday.

The sentiment, from the Bold Birthday Wishes stamp set was stamped repeatedly in rainbow colors down the left side of the panel. The Burst stamp was colored with watercolor markers, spritzed with water, and stamped onto the right side. A strip of Washi Tape finished this card off with a happy burst of color!

I had a piece of bubble wrap laying on my work space from something I ordered. I grabbed it up, opened some fun ink colors, and pounced my background, prior to adding panel to my card base. The sentiment from the Bold Birthday Wishes set was stamped, matted and adhered to the card base.

To create this easy card, I did a shaving cream background on the focal panel, stamped Slimline Candles, then stamped a sentiment from the Bold Birthday Wishes set.

So, here, I sort of just went with things! The Slimline Candles was stamped on top and bottom at opposite angles, colored with markers, and the sentiment from the Bold Birthday Wishes was stamped in black ink. To finish this one, I made dots (lots of dots!) with fine point markers.

I stamped a red background panel, using Gingham. A border was punched and added to the bottom (hoping this looks a bit like a summer tablecloth). I stamped Sundae, colored & fussy cut the image, and added glossy accents to the ice cream bowl. Last, the sentiment, from the Bold Birthday Wishes set was stamped and matted, then added to the card front.

This is a close up of the yummy ice cream bowl!

Last, but not least, for this card, I grabbed another stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, 6 Square Shadow, and stenciled some soft colors onto the blocks. The focal panel was ink blended with the same ink used on 2 of the squares, using blending brushes. I die cut a frame, punched some greenery, and added them, along with some bling, to the focal panel. Last, the sentiment, from Bold Birthday Wishes, was stamped, and punched before adhering to card base.

I sure hope you've enjoyed my little show and tell of easily created cards!

Giraffe Love

Well, this month has come to an end. It's been fun working with Technique Junkies again - their stamps are so much fun to work with, and so unique. It's looking like another few months of Dr. appointments, tests, surgeries, etc., so not sure how often I'll be able to pop in here, but I'm thinking of you all!!!

Wait until you see these fun cards! I had a blast with this stamp, 'Giraffe Love'.

The first card features the full 'Giraffe Love' background stamp on a white panel. I then cut a small frame and 'highlighted' a few of the giraffes by coloring inside the frame. The sentiment, 'Simply Enjoy' was stamped and matted as well. The focal panel was adhered to a card base, a quick bow added, and it's ready to mail!

Next, I colored and fussy cut some of the giraffes and hearts from the 'Giraffe Love' stamp, and sort of hid them behind a panel of black and white stripes. The sentiment is from the new set 'Another Year'.

Last up is a card that I think is called triple stamping technique? Not sure, but I'm going with that!
I actually stamped and colored the entire image, then used two dies to cut out portions of the image. These were matted with a tiny black border, then popped up with dimensional dots. Again, the 'Giraffe Love' stamp was used, as well as the 'Another Year'.

It's been fun! I'm hoping to get back soon to catch up on a million or so cards that I've made over the past year, that have never been posted!

Take care, everyone, and don't forget to use my code for 10% off anything not in the new release!!! TJPatti10

Wishing you smiles, and a happy May!!!

People Our Age...

 Good morning!

I'm sharing two cute cards today that I have created with some fun new stamps Older than We Are, Champagne Birthday, and Inside Out: Young at Heart, from Technique Junkies

Here are my cards:

For this card, the stamping was done on white cardstock, then distressed with some gray ink. A bit of glossy accents was added to the champagne glasses for a 'glass' effect. A panel of woodgrain paper was cut and adhered to a gray card base. I cut a square of burgandy colored cardstock, and created two triangles, one a bit smaller than the other. The triangles were adhered to the woodgrain panel, and to finish off the card, the stamped pieces were popped up with foam squares.

The next card was fun. I die cut a whole bunch of black numbers, and set them aside. The next step was to stamp the sentiment panels onto gold cardstock (it really IS gold, not yellow), and mat them with black cardstock. I set them aside and began adding the numbers randomly onto a gold panel. I just used a wet glue for this. When the glue had dried, I ran the panel through an embossing folder, and put my card together. Love these Inside Out sentiment sets that Technique Junkies has!!! You should really go check them all out!

I hope you're all well, and I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today!

Rock Star

  Hello Friends!

I'm up today on the Technique Junkies blog, and am sharing some cards using stamps from the February release.

Here's what I made:

The first card was stamped onto white cardstock, using Catherine Pooler Midnight Archival Ink. Some Grunge dots were stenciled onto the panel using Ink Blending Brushes and Distress Oxide Inks.

This card was created exactly like the first card, but the stenciling was done with the Falling Stars stencil.

The last card was stamped onto patterned paper. The Slimline Candles was stamped onto white cardstock, then again onto patterned papers. The patterned paper candles were paper pieced over top of the white panel, and popped up in front of the band image.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Slimline Candles

 Good morning!

I'm sharing some birthday cards today that I have created with new stamps, from Technique Junkies, Slimline Candles and Rock Star Birthday Sentiments.

Here are my cards:

For the first card, I smeared some watercolor markers onto my craft mat, spritzed them with water, and smooshed the card panel (big enough for the candles and sentiment) onto the wet mat.  After it dried, I stamped the candles and sentiment onto the panel, trimmed them to size, and assembled the card. It was completed by tying a small Baker's Twine bow around the sentiment panel, which was popped up on dimensional squares.

This card uses the slimline candles as well, but was trimmed to fit onto an A2 sized card. Each candle was colored with Alcohol markers, and a bit of Stickles was added to the wicks for some sparkle. The candle panel and sentiment panels were trimmed and adhered to a black card panel, matted again with a green panel, and purple panel, and finally adhered to the card base.

I hope you're all well, and I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today!

Hugs, Kisses, and Birthday Queen

Good morning!

I'm sharing two pretty cards today that I have created with some beautiful new stamps 'Birthday Queen' and 'Kisses and Wishes' from Technique Junkies

Here are my cards:

These were both quick and easy creations!

For the first card, I found a piece of a watercolored panel, and stamped the sentiment a bit to the right, and added some gold Washi Tape to the left. The gold heat embossed sentiment and the gold Washi tape worked so well together!  I will reach for this stamp a log - such a great idea for a last minute card! (I'm sure YOU don't do this, but I'm notorious for being ready to run out the door for church on Sunday morning, and realizing I need a birthday card...)

For the next card, I found a piece of patterned paper that had a teensy dot on it. A panel was cut to size to fit on the card base, and the stamping was done directly onto the patterned paper. I then die cut a 'frame', adhered it over top, and used some gold stickles to bling up the crown a bit. Ta-da, Ta-done!

I hope you're all well, and I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today!

Being Your Sister

  Good morning!

I'm sharing a fun birthday card today that I have created with a new stamp, Sister Birthday, from Technique Junkies

Here is my card:

To create this card panel, I smeared several colors of Distress Oxide Inks onto my craft mat. After spritzing the inks with water, I smooshed my card panel down onto the wet ink. I did a bit of turning the image and smooshing again, until I got it the way I wanted it to look.  The Image and upper sentiment were stamped onto the panel, and the Happy Birthday stamp (from the same set) was stamped repeatedly at the base of the panel. After stamping was complete, the panel was adhered to a teal card base. To finish things off, I stamped the cake and Happy Birthday onto the envelope.

I hope you're all well, and I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today!

You're not old...

Hello!

It's February release day at Technique Junkies! How is it possibly already February?
We have some great new stamps for you, and all of them are 15% off through Feb. 8th! No codes are needed, just put them in your shopping cart and the discount will be applied at checkout.

Here's the February release:

And, here is the awesome Gotta Have it All Bundle!

Here's what I made to share today:

To create the above card, I started with a bunch of 1/4" strips of scraps. I arranged them onto a dark green panel, and adhered that to a lighter green card base.  Then came the fun of choosing a sentiment from the new stamp set 'Inside Out; Young at Heart'. This was stamped onto yellow paper using Catherine Pooler's 'Deck the Halls' green ink. I trimmed up the sentiment pieces, and popped them up with some foam squares. There are TEN stamps in this sentiment set, and each one makes me smile out loud! Be sure to check it out!

This was another fun card to make. I started with some fun patterned paper, that looked like alcohol ink on one side, and had these fun shiny gold stripes on the other side. The sentiment 'Birthday Eye Chart' was stamped onto the patterned paper, and a strip of gold stripes was added at the bottom. This was adhered to a cinammon colored card base, and some fun eyeglass dies were cut from the same cardstock as the base. Glossy Accents was added to the eyeglasses after they were adhered to the card. This was another fun new stamp set!

I hope you like this great new release, and can't wait for you to see the awesome inspiration from our Design Team!

Happy Birthday Wishes

 Hi there!

I'm up today on the Technique Junkies blog, and am sharing a pretty card using some stamps from the January release.

Pat came out with two coordinating items this month, and I think I will be using them a lot! 'Lavender Frame' and 'Lavender Friendship Sentiments, set of 4' are beautiful to work with. The sentiments are lovely when used as stand-alone stamps on a pretty background, or when used with the 'Lavender Frame'.

This is the 4th card that I've made with these beautiful stamps. I simply stamped the frame and sentiment in brown ink on 'alcohol ink' patterned paper, and adhered to a light green card base.

Isn't it fun to see how many possibilities there are???

There is an awesome Gotta Have it All Bundle!

Wow! The holidays are behind us, it's time to be creating to add to our depleted stash, right?
I always seem to need non-gender Birthday cards, so that's the direction I took.

Here's what I made to share today:

I used two colors of Diamond Izink, and brayered some of each onto a white card panel. Then I stamped the beautiful sentiment from the new set 'Lavender Friendship Sentiments, set of 4', onto white cardstock, with a dark blue ink. These two layers were added to a dark blue card base. I wish you could see the glitter of the diamond Izink!

I hope you like this great new release item, and can't wait for you to see the rest of this release!
