I'm up today on the Technique Junkies blog, and am sharing some cards using stamps from the February release.
Today, I chose to work with Slimline Band Border, Rock Star Birthday Sentiments, and Slimline Candles.
Here's what I made:
The first card was stamped onto white cardstock, using Catherine Pooler Midnight Archival Ink. Some Grunge dots were stenciled onto the panel using Ink Blending Brushes and Distress Oxide Inks.
This card was created exactly like the first card, but the stenciling was done with the Falling Stars stencil.
The last card was stamped onto patterned paper. The Slimline Candles was stamped onto white cardstock, then again onto patterned papers. The patterned paper candles were paper pieced over top of the white panel, and popped up in front of the band image.

Well, I have to say that your slimline cards ROCK my friend!! I especially love the blue with the stenciled stars!! Really eye catching! That sentiment with the candles is so fun too! Really fabulous inspiration today Patti!
Three great cards, Patti!! Super stamps. The one you used would be perfect for our eight-year old grandson - he's a drummer in a band.

Cool beans!! This rock band is perfect for a masculine card. The birthday candles really intrigues me.
The stenciling added so much to the backgrounds of your cards. I love the slimline band border, too. These cards would be perfect for teens, a difficult group when it comes to card making.
This makes an awesome slimline card and perfect for a teen or if you know a drummer like we do!!! Love the stenciling.
