Happy Birthday Wishes

 Hi there!

I'm up today on the Technique Junkies blog, and am sharing a pretty card using some stamps from the January release.

Pat came out with two coordinating items this month, and I think I will be using them a lot! 'Lavender Frame' and 'Lavender Friendship Sentiments, set of 4' are beautiful to work with. The sentiments are lovely when used as stand-alone stamps on a pretty background, or when used with the 'Lavender Frame'.

This is the 4th card that I've made with these beautiful stamps. I simply stamped the frame and sentiment in brown ink on 'alcohol ink' patterned paper, and adhered to a light green card base.

Card 2

Card 3

Isn't it fun to see how many possibilities there are???

Friends are like Flowers

I'll be sharing 2 more cards using these stamps this month, and 2 different looks for them. For this card, I simply stamped the frame and sentiment in brown ink on Kraft cardstock, matted with brown cardstock, and adhered to a Kraft card base.

This was my first card that was shared last week.
What a difference between the look and feel of each!

Check back on the 27th - I'll have card #3 to share!

There are Friendships

Hi there!

I'm up today on the Technique Junkies blog, and am sharing a pretty card using some stamps from the January release.

Pat came out with two coordinating items this month, and I think I will reach for them over and over. 'Lavender Frame' and 'Lavender Friendship Sentiments, set of 4' are beautiful to work with. The sentiments are lovely when used as stand alone stamps on a pretty background, or when used with the 'Lavender Frame'.

Here's what I made:

I'll be sharing 3 more cards using these stamps this month, and 3 different looks for them. For this card, I simply stamped the frame and sentiment in brown ink, colored with copic markers, and 'drew' a blue frame using a marker around the four edges of the panel, prior to adhering to a dark blue card base.

Check back on the 22nd - I'll have card #2 to share!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Friends

Good morning!

I'm sharing a pretty card today that I have created with a beautiful sentiment from a new set 'Lavender Friendship Sentiments, Set of 4', from Technique Junkies. I've also used a new background stamp 'Falling Confetti Hearts' for the strip at the bottom of the card. A small piece of silver striped washi tape finishes this quick and easy card nicely!

So glad you stopped by my blog today!

Tic Tac Toe at The House that Stamps Built

Hi everyone - Happy Wednesday!

It's time for a new Tic-Tac-Toe challenge for Repeat Impressions.
Here is the inspiration board that Wendy gave us to work with:

I chose to work with: Teddy Bears, Not a Standard Card Shape, and Vellum. All three of these are things I don't normally choose to work with, so I thought I'd get adventurous!

Today, I used these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

Here's my creation:

Now it’s your turn! Create something using the Tic-Tac-Toe board above, and link it up at The House that Stamps Built. Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them! Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!

Check out my sidebar to see how you can save money on your RI orders!

Now, it's time to see what my fellow Rock Stars have created!

Hello Friend...

Hello Friends!

I'm here today to share a sweet card that was created using the Die-Versions
coordinating stamps and dies, DV-9014 Cat's Meow.

I can't wait to see what the next sets bring - these have been so much fun!
I'm not usually a cat person, due to allergies, but these sweet little
faces are so hard to resist!  The precious butterfly was in this set too!

Here is what I made:

Hope they gave you a smile or two!

If you want to do some shopping for dies and stamps, be sure to check out the Die-Versions website! They have some wonderful dies that cut like butter, and are so affordable!
And now - they have sweet stamps too!!!

Have a wonderful day - thanks for stopping by!

I Give Up.

Yep. I give up!
I have been taking pictures since about 8:30 this morning, and it's now 11:51 a.m. I'm with DH again this week, and we are staying in the camper. It's so weird...one of the things I so dearly loved about this camper is all of the huge window and lots of light. However, I sure can't get my photos to turn out!
So, I apologize, and they are what they are this week!!! lol...
This first card uses a Stampabilites stamp. It's too much fun not to use once in a while. My two background strips are painted with acrylic paints very messily, and then run through the cuttlebug. Distress ink is Tim Holtz, Antique Linen.

I am entering the above card here:

Unscripted Sketches: Sketch

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge: BFF, Buttons Flowers, FRIEND(ship)

A Crafty Little Place: Color Challenge (Blue, Brown, Rust, Gold)

Papertake Weekly: 3 of a Kind (3 buttons)

If the Shoe Fits: Distress

The card below is also a lot of fun. However, I pre-stamped and brought images to color, and can't remember who made the stamps. If you want to know, let me know, and I'll email you the info when I get home!

All coloring of candy corn is done with Copic Spica pens. Moon is sponged with Adirondack Lemonade. CS is Bazzill, and DP is DCWV Autumn Mat Stack.

I'm going to enter the Candy Corn card here:

Let's Ink it Up: Use Halloween Colors

Paper Playtime: Use orange as main color

Paper Romance: Fall or Halloween Card

Card of the Week: Halloween

Stamp, Scrap, and Doodle: Halloween or Fall

Gosh, how did it get to be Wednesday already?

Happy Day!

Patti J.
