May Peace be Your Gift

Good Morning!
I'm here today with my post for Die-Versions, and have a fun new die to share.
This "Holiday Tag" Whispers DVW-391, just called out to  me when I first saw it.
It's meant to be a tag, but I decided to try something different.

This view shows the entire card.  I trimmed a bit off of the bottom so that it would fit nicely into an A2 envelope.

In this shot, you can see that I left the green deer in the die cut, but punched out all of the other little pieces.  This was the toughest part, as these pieces always want to fall right out of the dies!  I die cut the tag again in white, and adhered it directly over the green die cut.  I saved the large snowflake, a couple small bits, and the white deer, and added them to the bottom of the card.

I folded my card base, centered the die on the fold, and cut through only the top half.
So, when the card is open, the deer are sort of 'showcased' at the top.
Added a nice sentiment and a bit of bling!
I

I can't wait to try this as a Christmas tag! What fun!

Be sure to check out all of the new Christmas release dies at Die-Versions!
You won't be disappointed!

Thanks for stopping by today,

Patti J.

Casadia - Here for You

I have something really fun to share with you today!

Have you been following Wida Miller's CASADIA?
I've been following for quite a while now, and this is one of the best ideas I've seen, and such fun!
What is Casadia, you ask?
It is a card chain!  Sort of like when we used to play 'telephone'.
The 1st person in this chain was Laura Bassen, (who had no idea what she'd started!)

who was CASEd by Jennifer Rzasa
who was then cased by Wida Miller, who then invited all of us to join in the fun!

And here is the most recent card, by Suzanne Dahlberg, which I was invited to CASE.

(If you want to Pin any of these cards, please go to each designer's blog, and pin from there!)

To see all of the cards in the chain, pop over to Wida's Casadia Page!

Now, a little about MY card!
This was a great card for me to CASE!  A pretty tough act to follow, but OMG - Case-Heaven!
Suzanne had me at Kraft!  And Kraft with dots? Be still my heart!
The next thing to make me smile was the soft pink ribbon and lacy doily.  I am a card angel for folks undergoing chemotherapy, and I immediately thought of the Amuse Breast Cancer stamp set that I got last October.  That's how this card evolved.
Amuse "Fight Like a Girl" Stamps, Color Box Chalk Inks, Amuse and misc. ribbon scraps, flower from my stash, Baker's Twine: Really Reasonable Ribbon, Kraft CS, Bazzill CS, Perfect Layers Rulers 1/16" and 1/8".

I hope that you will go check out all of the fabulous cards in the chain.  And if you are interested in being a part of CASADIA, contact Wida Miller, and get on the list!

Have a great day,
Patti J.

Repeat Impressions "Big Boys Toys" Blog Hop

Good morning!

Sure hope you are ready for some fun!  Welcome to the Repeat Impressions Series 9100 Blog Hop!  Today, we will be playing a word game... as you hop from blog to blog, we each have a word to share with you. Your mission is to collect all the words, and email them to Wendy. This will make you eligible for the blog candy! AND...if you can also use all of the words that you collect to create the correct phrase, you will have earned TWO chances for the blog candy!

My card features the beautiful Corvette (9119-K), and the Sending Smiles Sentiment (9106-G). I've used some yummy A Muse cardstock, Perfect Layers Tools, and Colorbox Chalk Ink, and created the perfect Man-Card!

You are going to love the stamps in this series - your masculine cards will flow together in record time!  This card took 8 minutes, start to finishI used my Perfect Layers tools for perfect matting!

Now, you must complete the hop, and email Wendy all of the words, and/or the phrase, no later than 5 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 13th. The blog candy for this hop....an unmounted SHEET of the new Big Boys Toys stamps, of course - the whole collection could be yours!  You can see this collection here.  The winner will be announced on the Repeat blog, on Monday morning, May 14th.  Good luck!

My word is: TOYS

Now, hurry on to my fabulous fellow Rockstar's, check out their amazing creations, and of course, collect their words!  Have fun!
