Brrrr.....

Brrr.....the temps are beginning to feel a bit more like Thanksgiving is coming! I'm such a sissy. When it's 80 I have a sweater on - seriously!  Hope you guys are all enjoying your fall pumpkin spice coffee's and the pretty colors! Hard to believe that snow is just around the corner!

Here we go...

The first 10 photos are all made with products from Stampin' Up! They sell these fun card packs, that just have two-sided panels. Everything coordinates, and they make super fast cards. Hope you enjoy these!

Last, but NOT least, is a card from one of my friends', Ruth Petsel's card classes.
This pic shows the card front. It is stunning!  But wait for the inside!!!

Ta-da! Look at this gorgeous rainbow of butterflies! This card was such fun to create, and I can't wait to try another one! The recipient totally loved it!

Glad you stopped by.

Are you bored with my photos yet? Hope you can hang in there another 8 weeks!!!

Grins and giggles,
Patti J.

10-13-23

We have had the pleasure of spending a week with our 7 year old grandson, Nate.

After being active and on the road for several days, we chose to stay home and play in Grammy's craft room today.

Here is the card that Nate made today for something very special:

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Nate and I would love it if you'd leave him some comments on his card!

Have a great weekend,
Patti J. & Nate.

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps - Mix and Match

Hello, my creative friends!

I'm pleased to share another Blue Knight Rubber Stamps project with you today.

I'm really enjoying these stamps! Wowzers!!! They stamp so precisely - gotta love well made stamps!

Again, the October theme is Mix 'n Match - we are to use one or more stamps from at least two stamp sets!

I am a part of a group that tries to meet once a year. We each bring a project, and there are 6 of us. So we start crafting about 9 a.m., break for lunch, and create all afternoon! It's a great time, and we make 6 fun projects. We also give each other little 'gifts', which is SO much fun! I chose to gift the ladies with a pretty Christmas die, but needed a way to gift wrap it.

I had these Kraft envelopes in my stash, and decided to see how they would look stamped and colored. The images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored with a handful of Copic Markers. I used these Blue Knight Rubber Stamps products:

Hope you like it, and are inspired to check out the blog (link below) for more inspiration from the design team!

I'll be back with another BKRS creation on October 23rd!

Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Mix 'n Match

Hello, my dear friends!

I'm excited to share a special project with you today - I was invited to guest design for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps for the month of October!

If you've never been to their store or blog, you need to check them out. I love their beautiful stamps, and couldn't wait to tear into my package to see what new goodies I had to create with!

It's time to show you what I made for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps. For the month of October, the theme is Mix 'n Match using one or more stamps from at least two sets! I love a good challenge!

I made a card using these Blue Knight Rubber Stamps products:

Using the wreath building technique, I designed the focal image using the cute Mini Insects. These were colored with Spectrum Noir markers. The background is just a pretty piece of patterned paper. The butterfly at the bottom of the focal panel is the small butterfly from the Tiger Swallowtail set. My favorite part of this card was this fun sentiment! The card looks so serious and 'scripty' at a glance, and one has to just laugh out loud when they read the words - gotta love this sentiment set!
