Boo!

Well, here is my very first Halloween card!

It's one of those 10 minute specials, but I really wanted to participate in Barb's first challenge, and don't know how much time I'll have the rest of the week (making multiple airport runs 1.5 hr. from home...and...still working on 110 birth announcements!)....

For those of you that aren't aware, Barb Foster has started a new Halloween Challenge Blog! You can find it here! She's calling it the Macabre Monday Challenge. For the challenge this week, we were to dig out our flower/foliage stamps, and instead of making them pretty, we were to make them spooky looking, or 'dark'... I had a bit of Halloween DP on hand, and used a new TAC stamp, spritzed it with water, added a sentiment from TAC and done!!! Barb, I promise to work harder next week!!! lol!

The next card is for the 365 Cards challenge for today. The challenge was a trio - use a triangle, a sticker, and a button. Pretty self -explanatory! This card also works for the Artful Inkables Challenge, which was to use Black, White, and Red on a card! Also, self explanatory!

Have a great night everyone! I'm off to cut out more baby blue things and glue them on brown things!
I have a 6 a.m. run to the city to the airport tomorrow, so I'll see you whenever I can get here!

Hi Patti!

I'm falling way behind again in my blog surfing. So much going on, so little time... and energy. I wish sleep were optional!

I just read your last four posts and loved all the cards. I think the Christmas one is my favorite, but I also love the stark colors and clean lines of the triangle one. Your Halloween card IS spooky cute!

So, DH is headed out here without you??? When are you coming? Maybe after the baby announcements are done? I can't wait to see what they look like. You must share!

Looks like a lucky rainbow to me... a double at that! I hope good fortune is coming your way.

Love and hugs,
Lisa

I am not a halloween or christmas person so i am not particularly attracted to this sort of card ( sorry Patti) I guess i'll still have to do some for the next christmas for my friends! But i love the second one.
Hope you have a lovely day.
Hugs xx
Pat

Great Halloween card using the watercolor plants stamp - and what a nice clean simple design with the triangle/button card. Drive safely - we have a "road trip" for Sat.

Both of these are great, Patti! I am partial to the first one, though :) Great creepy flower image... thanks so much for playing HDH's first ever Macabre Monday!!

I can't believe there is another challenge in blogland, but this sounds like a fun one! You made an excellent 'spooky' card!

Love those cards Patti.
The new baby is a perfect reason to start a baby canvas.

What a cute Halloween card! How clever of someone to have a Halloween challenge blog! Thanks for the "heads up." I'll try to check it out in my spare time.
I really like the clean classic lines of your second card.
