Speedy Short Post!

I have been pretty busy this week. Got my announcements done and delivered today, but have some other things in the works as well. Shirley and I calculated 110 announcements times 22 pieces = 2420 pieces that I cut, distressed, and adhered!!! (Oops, forgot to count stapling!) Yay me!!! To protect "little bit", I have not shown the entire inside insert...

Here is what else I've managed to do this week!

Barb Foster's Haunted Designs directives this week were to use 'winged' things. Well, some of my dear blogging friends have been so creative as to use Flamingo's, etc. My brain cells are way short of creative this week! I used BATS - imagine that!!! Ha!

Supplies:
Alcohol inks, Staz on Black, Michaels $1 stamps, Joannes $1 Stamps. The sentiment reads "Spooky Halloween".

Don't laugh - it's the best I could do this week! Lol!

Anyway, maybe I can play catch up tomorrow a bit!!!

Take care - miss you!!!

Boo!

Well, here is my very first Halloween card!

It's one of those 10 minute specials, but I really wanted to participate in Barb's first challenge, and don't know how much time I'll have the rest of the week (making multiple airport runs 1.5 hr. from home...and...still working on 110 birth announcements!)....

For those of you that aren't aware, Barb Foster has started a new Halloween Challenge Blog! You can find it here! She's calling it the Macabre Monday Challenge. For the challenge this week, we were to dig out our flower/foliage stamps, and instead of making them pretty, we were to make them spooky looking, or 'dark'... I had a bit of Halloween DP on hand, and used a new TAC stamp, spritzed it with water, added a sentiment from TAC and done!!! Barb, I promise to work harder next week!!! lol!

The next card is for the 365 Cards challenge for today. The challenge was a trio - use a triangle, a sticker, and a button. Pretty self -explanatory! This card also works for the Artful Inkables Challenge, which was to use Black, White, and Red on a card! Also, self explanatory!

Have a great night everyone! I'm off to cut out more baby blue things and glue them on brown things!
I have a 6 a.m. run to the city to the airport tomorrow, so I'll see you whenever I can get here!
