Hello creative friends!

I am sharing two fun cards today over on the Technique Junkies blog

This first card features 2 new stamps, Coffee Girl, and Jet Fuel.

The sentiment was stamped with a pretty ink onto a white cardstock panel. Next, the image was stamped, using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The image was colored with copic markers, and a bit of stenciling was done using a Grunge Dots stencil by A Colorful Life Designs. A strip of Washi Tape was added below the image, and the focal panel was adhered to a coral colored card base.

After I looked at it a while, I decided this Coffee Girl was in need of some sass, so I applied Glossy Accents to her sunglasses!

Next up, is a fun card that features Sassy Pants from the March release, and an older stamp Drinkin' and Thinkin'.  It's been a pretty rough month here, and there were 2 or 3 days that I totally looked just like this gal! And believe me, my pants were sassy! Lol....

I used a dark gray ink to stamp and stencil on this gray card front. The stencil is Messy Diamond Grid from A Colorful Life Designs.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I have had a great time designing with the talented Technique Junkies' Team! Thanks so much to them all for making me feel welcome! Hope to be back again soon...

Hugs and smiles,
Patti J.

Hi friends!

I am sharing two fun cards today over on the Technique Junkies blog

So, I can certainly relate to BOTH of these cards!  The older I get, the more I pray for patience with people. Lol...they probably pray for patience with me, too! Anyway, this fun new stamp is called The Senility Prayer, and it was fun to create with.

 Here we go:

The image and sentiment are a single stamp, so this was stamped onto white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  The image was then colored using copic markers. I matted it onto some blue cardstock, then onto a navy blue card base. She needed a bit of definition, so her glasses got some glossy accents, which you can see better in the photo below.  I felt the card was too blah, but didn't have any stencils that 'fit' this stamp, so I grabbed my markers and 'dotted' a background. Easy card, and a fun one to send to a friend or family member!

On to card #2:

This one is pretty self-explanatory! Some fun patterned papers, a few pop dots, and some pretty inks were used on this fun new stamp In the Craft Room. This one just makes me happy, and I know that those of you with craft rooms 'get it'! I love my craft room - it's my happy place!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Of Course, Size Matters!

 Hello crafty friends!

It's April release day at Technique Junkies... Things are beginning to bloom here, and it's warming up a bit. The spring rains are here too - we'll be mowing grass before we know it!

We have awesome new stamps for you, and all of them are 15% off through April 8th! No codes are needed, just put them in your shopping cart and the discount will be applied at checkout.

Here's the April Release, and you can get it as a bundle! Check it out:

Here's what I made to share today:

All 3 cards use the same background BoHo Dots Background from the new release.  The card above uses an older stamp, Drinkin' and Thinkin' with a new sentiment, She Believed She Could. The background was stamped by dragging Distress Oxide Inks across the focal panel. The image and sentiment were stamped with Twilight Black Catherine Pooler Ink. The pieces were assembled to create a fun card.

Inside of card:

We always need just the right card for just the right person! The above card was created by stamping the background with a pretty orangish ink, stamping a wide section at the bottom, and a narrower section at the top. A strip of Washi Tape was added above the bottom section, leaving room for the sentiment from the new Inside Out: Size Matters set.  The inside sentiment was stamped, and a strip of washi tape added for a nice finishing touch!

The above card was stamped in Prize Ribbon Distress Oxide Ink. The fun, new, snarky sentiment, Three Languages was stamped, a strip of blue glitter Washi Tape and a narrow strip of black Washi Tape were added to the left of the sentiment. The card was assemble onto a black base.

Fun, right?  I know that you have that one special friend that would be thrilled to receive any one of these 3 cards!

I hope you like this great new release, and can't wait for you to see the awesome inspiration
from our Design Team!

Dear Santa

Hello Friends!

I'm up on the Technique Junkies blog to share a fun card, using some great stamps from Technique Junkies.

The stamping was done, and the image was colored with Copic markers. A bit of Glossy Accents was used on nose, toes, and eyes.  The Shining Star stencil was then used to accent the background. I used another stamp from the sentiment set listed above to give the envelope a bit of 'happy'!

So glad you stopped by today!

Age...and Wine

Hi there!

It's my day to post on the Technique Junkies Design blog, and I'd like to share two fun cards that I created, with some new release products!

Both cards today use S875 Dotted Squares. What a fun background stamp this is - it's so versatile. I've used it two different ways.

Here's what I made:

This card features:
S875 Dotted Squares
SS126 Gnome for Christmas

For the above card, I used strips of post-it tape, and stamped several different colors on an angle. The sentiment was stamped and matted. The 'wine drinking gnome' (lol...) was stamped onto a scrap of white cardstock, colored with Copic Markers, and fussy cut. He was 'grounded' with a scrap of the same blue as the mat and the card base.

This card features:
SS129 To Ride a Horse (set of 5)

This time, the Dotted Squares background was stamped with black ink, and adhered to black mat, then card base. The sentiment was stamped in black, matted with black, and popped up over top of a pink 'tail', and a bit of bling was added for balance...and bling!

So glad you stopped by today!

this month!

Multi-tasking...

Hi ya'll!
Thought I'd spend a few minutes this week on a couple of challenge cards.

I made this card today, for the Challenge at Impression Obsession. The theme is 'Tickled' (funny cards!)  The stamps I used are: Solid Hearts Frame, and Multitasking. I know this is to be a funny challenge, but sadly, I really CAN listen, ignore and forget all at the same time!

I kept things clean and simple.
I stamped the Solid Hearts Frame, using Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry Ink.  Then, I masked off the frame, and stamped all around the frame with the 'Multitasking' sentiment, in Memento London Fog, stamping off on scrap paper one time prior to stamping on the panel, for a faded look. (If you look hard, you will see where I forgot to stamp off!) I stamped the sentiment once more in Versafine Black Ink in the center of the frame. Last, I took a Copic MultiLiner pen and added some 'stitching' to the hearts.

Hope you like it!
Have a great day! I plan to venture outside to pull some weeds in a bit.

Take care,
Patti J.
