Hi friends!

I am sharing two fun cards today over on the Technique Junkies blog

So, I can certainly relate to BOTH of these cards!  The older I get, the more I pray for patience with people. Lol...they probably pray for patience with me, too! Anyway, this fun new stamp is called The Senility Prayer, and it was fun to create with.

 Here we go:

The image and sentiment are a single stamp, so this was stamped onto white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  The image was then colored using copic markers. I matted it onto some blue cardstock, then onto a navy blue card base. She needed a bit of definition, so her glasses got some glossy accents, which you can see better in the photo below.  I felt the card was too blah, but didn't have any stencils that 'fit' this stamp, so I grabbed my markers and 'dotted' a background. Easy card, and a fun one to send to a friend or family member!

On to card #2:

This one is pretty self-explanatory! Some fun patterned papers, a few pop dots, and some pretty inks were used on this fun new stamp In the Craft Room. This one just makes me happy, and I know that those of you with craft rooms 'get it'! I love my craft room - it's my happy place!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Food for thought: Life teaches us some painful lessons. But it is from adversity that strength is born. You might have lost this inning, but you will win the game!

Hugs and smiles,
Patti J.

Two great cards, Patti!! I love the Senility Prayer. And your dotted background is amazing! I certainly know what you mean about loving your craft room. I'm in mine right now. :-)

You have the best sense of humor, Patti! Love your fun cards. The senility prayer made me chuckle. That was a good idea to add the dotted background. Sometimes we forget that the easy techniques can be just as impressive as the difficult ones.

Lol love these, and great idea to use your marker for the background!
