Age...and Wine

Hi there!

It's my day to post on the Technique Junkies Design blog, and I'd like to share two fun cards that I created, with some new release products!

Both cards today use S875 Dotted Squares. What a fun background stamp this is - it's so versatile. I've used it two different ways.

Here's what I made:

This card features:
S875 Dotted Squares
SS126 Gnome for Christmas

For the above card, I used strips of post-it tape, and stamped several different colors on an angle. The sentiment was stamped and matted. The 'wine drinking gnome' (lol...) was stamped onto a scrap of white cardstock, colored with Copic Markers, and fussy cut. He was 'grounded' with a scrap of the same blue as the mat and the card base.

This card features:
SS129 To Ride a Horse (set of 5)

This time, the Dotted Squares background was stamped with black ink, and adhered to black mat, then card base. The sentiment was stamped in black, matted with black, and popped up over top of a pink 'tail', and a bit of bling was added for balance...and bling!

So glad you stopped by today!

Don't forget!!! You can always save 10% on any order by entering TJ10Patti at checkout.

Now, be sure to head over to the Technique Junkies store and check out the incredible new stamps
this month!

Thanks for stopping by,
Patti J.

Your cards made me chuckle today--and I needed that! I really love your multi-color dot background. That looks really cool. After reading your explanation about how you did it, I couldn't help by try to think of other ways it might be accomplished. Thanks for geting those creative gears going!

Two very cute cards. Like you, I'm a lover of the gnomes, especially the Christmas ones. I wish we'd see more new ones, eh?

That background stamp is such fun! I am into the gnomes, and I am loving your card. Love his beard!! Awesome how you did the background thanks for sharing that idea. The second card is wonderful also. The black and hot pink look great together.
