Boo! and Boo!

So...how is everyone? Ready for a new week? It's supposed to be cool and windy here this week, not sure I'm ready for that! DH has a doc appt. Monday in the city. I hate it when that happens, as it means I am forced to endure a trip to Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and etc... Just kidding - I look forward to our scarce days together and our little shopping excursions.

Both projects today feature a free digi image that I grabbed at Digital Delights Freebie Friday. Isn't this just the cutest little ghostie? The sketch is from the Delightful Sketches challenge.

The challenge at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge was "Tag, You're It", we were to use a tag on our projects. I needed to box up a couple of cookies for a friend, so I made a 3 x 3 Pizza Box instead of a card. You can see my tag dangling from the spider!

This photo shows the bow at the top of the box, and shows how I stamped the ghost image a second time and cut out all of the ghost pieces and pieced them over the image with dimensional dots, making the ghostie a bit 3D.

Yummm...these are some of the cookies that DD baked for the fall festival. They are whole grain cookies and are very tasty, and as you can see, they are 3" in diameter!

Recipes: DCWV CS, K & Co. DP, Making Memories Brads & Spider, Marvy Punch, Nesties, Kooh-I-Noor Pencils, Ribbon from Michael's and Hobby Lobby

I'm off to the city today for some fun with DH, so be safe, have some fun in your craft rooms, and I'll see you later!

"Paint It"

Happy Saturday!

I think that on this beautiful, glorious Saturday, Pam, over at 365 Cards is attempting to punish me for something!

I rushed over to see what her challenge was this a.m., and EGADS! The theme today is "Paint It"... Now, for most, that's not an issue. However, most of you know that we are in the midst of a minor renovation around here, and that I've had a paintbrush in my hand at least part of every day this week! So, when I saw the word "P-A-I-N-T" I almost ran and hid! Instead, I went to the cabinet to check out what paints I might have on hand. I had exactly two colors - orange and green. YUK! I couldn't think of a thing to do with these colors - so I mixed the two...Ahhhhh...that's some better - now I had a hue of hideous brownish, greenish, color, that sort of resembled some things the kids used to carry around in their diapers...tee hee.

I grabbed one of the reject paint samples from earlier this week and thought, aha! And here is the end result - let me know what you think!

Pam, if you are reading this, I'm only kidding - this was a fun challengs!!! I love having to think 'outside the box'! You rock!

Supplies: Making memories paint, DCWV CS, Paint Sample Strip, TAC Stamps, Brads from my stash, Ribbon from same stash.

Have a great Saturday - off to Lowe's and Sherwin Williams!
