Who's got the buttons?...AND...some exciting news!

The challenge at Paperlicious Designs this week was fun! I finally sat down last night at about 9:30, and started working on it. Melisa asked us to use at least 5 buttons on our card!

Well...you all know me and my buttons! I always love an excuse to get into grandma's old button jar, and nana's old button tin! I'm also a bit hooked on Inchies - I love the concept of all of those itty bitty squares creating a beautiful masterpiece. So...it was an easy decision for me - today's posting is an Inchie's card with EIGHT buttons on it!

Hope you like it! All images are Inkadinkado, everything else is scraps and buttons! CS is DCWV. Ink is Versamark Fine Black.

Now for some exciting news!!! There is a new stamp company about to open up! Hurry over to Lalaland and check it out! They are currently looking for 6 DT members, so you have a chance to apply with the owner, Irina, for that, as well!!! Their sneak previews look like so much fun - I am anxious to see entire images!

Also, I won some blog candy! Heather, has an amazing blog - great tutorials, and wonderful cards and three d projects! Be sure to pop over and check out her blog!

Have a wonderful Sunday - blessings to all!

I'm in a Bind...

Today's 365 Cards challenge is "I'm in a Bind". The challenge was to bind two pieces of cardstock or something together to create your card. Before I go on, notice that I said TODAY'S challenge! Yay me!

Some have used lacing, brads, bind it all's, etc. I thought I'd try to create a couple of puzzle pieces and have them hold together two sides of a gatefolded card.

Stamps are Inkadinkado's - Inks are Versa Fine Brown, and Stampin' Up's Tempting Turquoise. DP is The Angel Company and Scraps that I'm not sure about!

This was really quick and easy - hope you like it!

Time for my bath and my bed - see you all on the flip flop!

Give a girl an inch....

AND she will make "Inchies" - lol!

Shirley, my friend, and I went down to O'Dear's today and took an "Inchies" class!

We had SO much fun! Our heads are just reeling with ideas. We had both 'piddled' with Inchie type things before, but had never been shown exactly what to do.

Well...Karin Braxton is a wonderful teacher, and had some beautiful projects for us to do. The 16 square black card could honestly be framed and hung on the wall. The photo's simply don't do it justice! There is one additional card that we didn't have time to do, so it was sent home with us for 'homework'!

And, as for O'Dear's, I certainly enjoy an 'excuse' to go there and shop! (I now have TWO sets of Spellbinder's!)...

Hope you have all enjoyed your Saturday so far! DD and DH left for St. Louis this a.m. about 5:30. She ran in a 5k race that was sponsored by the YMCA. She finished up just a few minutes before the rain began! Stan went on to get the oil changed in our little fun-mobile, and I went to my class. All is well with our world so far today!

Have a great night -

Patti J.
