Howdy, and Happy Sunday!

The sun is shining in Missouri - it's a miracle!  The temps are nice too - around 50, I think.  Had a great church service today, AND a church breakfast, so life is really good.

I have a card to share, that I don't think I've ever posted.  This is one of the cards that was published in an issue of CardMaker a while back.  I love this Amuse Studio set 'Life's a Breeze'- it's fun to create with!

Beautiful Monday in Missouri

Well, hello!

It's a lovely day, here in Missouri.  Hope it's good where you are!

All stamps are from Impression-Obsession.  Coloring with Copic Markers.

I don't have anything new to share today, but hope you will understand, and enjoy what I've posted. It was one of the cards that was published in the Spring Edition "Quick & Easy Cards" of Cardmaker.

I worked Friday and Saturday, helping with a benefit sale for a sweet little 4 month old that we dearly loved. The little guy was born with SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy).  The sale went well, and we raised quite a bit to help offset medical bills (There was no health insurance). 

We were quite pleased about that.  Sadly, we got a call from the family yesterday afternoon, 

telling us that our little man had passed away.  

If you are the praying type, prayers for this family would be greatly appreciated.

They live about five hours from us.  We will be driving down to attend services, so my posts this week will be few and far between.

CardMaker has done it again! What a great source of inspiration for cards that can be

created quickly and beautifully!

 Here is a card that I made using Our Daily Bread Designs stamps. Wow, talk about an easy card!

I felt truly honored to have several cards in the same issue as some of my uber-talented blogging friends!  Someone needs to pinch me - I flip through these pages in awe of these designers!

Hope you are having a great weekend.  I am on my way to a New Puppy Shower in the park!  I actually cased a card from this magazine to take today.  I'll post the card tomorrow!

40th Anniversary...

Good morning, friends!

Today, my DH and I are celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary.  This week has been full of family and friends arrving from out of town, and out of state, to share in the celebration with us.

Our two grown children have teamed up and are having a party for us at a local vinyard this afternoon, and we are looking forward to seeing even more friends and family!

I'll try to have a photo to share in the next post.

Have a wonderful day, and thank you for being patient with me the past week or so, as my time has been devoted to visiting with family!  Our DD and her DH will be moving to Germany at the end of this month, and will be gone for three years, so we have been spending as much as we can with them.
