Curly Tailed Cats

Hope your week is off to a good start!

I have two fun Technique Junkies cards to share today on the Technique Junkies blog.

Here is my first card. This was created using the Better with a Dog stamp from the February Technique Junkies release. This was one of my favorite stamps from the release! The photo doesn't show true colors. Believe it or not, the card base behind the white strips is EXACTLY the same color as the cardstock matting the image. I cut lots of white strips, and mounted them over top of the card base with dimensional foam, then stamped and matted the image, which was adhered directly to the card front.

Next up is another easy, fun card! All These Cats, was stamped in black ink onto a white card panel. I stamped a 'mask', fussy cut it, and laid the mask over top of the black stamping. I then stamped the background, using Curly Tailed Cats, and a pretty blue ink.

Thanks for stopping by today!

These are so adorable!! Your doggie card is so unique in the way you placed the white cardstock. Love it! Your cat card rocks. Using the two stamps you did was thinking outside the box.

Love the dog card - and yes being a kitty lover I like the cat card as well. You have been a busy lady in your craft room. Keep up the great work.

These are both adorable Patti! Really love how you've done your background on the top card! Those kitty images with the curly tails are too cute! Wonderful inspiration!

I just LOVE both these cards, but I nearly cried when I received that doggy card. It was so very kind of you to send it. Mickey is doing great and has really settled in as a member of our family. The kids and grandkids all love him and spoil him like mad when they're around. We're in the middle of obedience training, and he's so smart he's at the top of his class! Thank you again, Patti. You're a treasure!
