Howdy!
I'm up today on the Technique Junkies blog, and am sharing two cards that I made, featuring the beautiful new Big Wave stamp from the June Release. I hope you like them! This is such a beautiful release.
Here's my first card:
Wow! What a beautiful wave. The sentiment used on this card is also new Ocean Soul. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark, and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The image was stamped in dark blue ink, and some blending was done toward the top with an Ink Blending Brush and a beautiful sentiment finished this card nicely.
And here's card number two:
This time, using a finger dauber, I dabbed on several shades of Distress Oxide Inks until I got the look I wanted. I blended some ink on the top, and stamped the sentiment from the beautiful set, Sunset Sentiments with a deep blue ink.
Thanks for stopping by today!

This is a very nice stamp indeed. I love both cards. I think I'm partial to your white embossed sentiment. Have a fabulous week and I hope you're feeling well my friend. Bethie
Those are two great cards, Patti, and the sentiments are wonderful, also!
Beautiful card designs with the big wave!
These are both so beautiful, Patti. I love that big wave. I can almost hear the sound of the ocean when I see it. I had always thought I wanted to live near the ocean so that I could be lulled to sleep by its rhythmic sound, yet here I am, smack in the middle of the country, about as far from the ocean as any U.S. resident can be! Thanks for giving me a vision of it today, anyway. Have a great weekend.
Great cards - I didn't think I liked a "great wave" but oh what a beautiful job you have done. I used to have a tape with recorded ocean sounds to lull me to sleep at night - this reminds me of that tape.
Both cards are lovely, the really like the pink and blue one
It's an awesome stamp and I love the sentiments you used too. Beautiful cards both, Patti.
Hugs
