March Inspiration Palette at The House...

Good morning!

I'm back today with a new Inspiration Palette challenge for Repeat Impressions.
Our challenge is to create with the photo, colors, or the theme...look at the fun inspiration that Wendy gave us to work with - my mind saw those monochromatic colors and
immediately thought of paint sample cards!  So, guess whose hubby had to make
an emergency trip to our local hardware stores?  lol...

And, here's what I made using these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

For this card, I gave the kitty some patterned wall, using a panel that my friend Diane shared with me last week.  I gently laid on some 'floor' and shadows using a couple of alcohol markers.

The paint samples that my Mr. brought me were trimmed down in height and width, and added to the side of the card with dimensional foam.  The sentiment was orignally stamped on the card front, but I had a huge OOPS, so took a scrap of the paint sample and heat embossed the sentiment instead. Whew....thank goodness for scraps and bling, right?

Hope you like this new inspirational palette challenge!
Now it’s your turn! Create a card using the inspiration above, and link it up at The House that Stamps Built. Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them! Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!

Check out my sidebar to see how you can save money on your RI orders!

Now, it's time to see what my fellow Rock Stars have created!

Hope you link up a card this week!

See - mistakes are just an opportunity for embellishment and you made it work. Love the silhouette cat - and I know I have some paint chips laying around my house . LOL Great card.

Fun card Patti. Great use of the paint chips. Can't believe this is your colour palette. Made and blogged a perfect piece last night. Did think about waiting and seeing what the house had in store but thought, no, they won't go there, and here you are, all monochrome. What fun. I actually love monochrome. So classy. Hugz
