Hope that you are all well, and off to a great week. I've been gone for a week, so if I haven't been by to see you, it's due to no internet where I was.
DS moved last week. DH went out for a week and helped him move out of his old house, and I went out and helped him on the settling in to his new house. He's been living in Los Angeles for several years, but was transferred up to the San Jose area.
I so enjoyed the weather there - stayed about 68-75 degrees. Felt wonderful after our 90's and 100's for the last 30 days, and it was so good to see DS. When the 'kids' were growing up, we never thought they'd live so many states away from us. If you have young ones at home, cherish every single day with them!
With good luck, I'll be back to normal later today or tonight!
Thanks for being patient with me....
Hugs & blessings,
I can so relate Patti, my kids moved away too! Wish now I had grounded them more LO, like til they were 60! LOL
Glad you had time with your son - those moments are so precious. My kids didn't move - I did. And I miss them very much.
So glad that you were with your son...I was hoping you had been absent for a good reason and not a bad one! =) Thanks for the reminder to cherish the days at home my kids...the long summer makes it hard to remember that someday they will be off on their own and possibly far away! Take Care!
Hi, Patti!!! Welcome back! So glad you got to spend a great time with the DS and enjoyed wonderful weather! I understand because the temps here have been insufferably hot and humid too -- wish I could escape for a minute... lol!!! Weather prediction for today is again to be in the mid 90's -- arghhh!
Hugs, my friend!
Hope you were able to see and do a few things while you were in the San Jose area. There are so many great things to see and great places to eat! Loved that area when we lived there.
Oh, I am so glad you got to spend some time and enjoy. I just hate being away from my kids, and they are not that far. Life just gets in the way of frequent visits. Missed you, my friend. I am sure the heat was home waiting for your return! LOL!
It's SO hot here in Rome, these days we even reached 107 degrees Fahreinheit, incredible! Welcome back Patti!
Welcome home. Lived near there for a year, and the weather is pretty constant, can you beleive we missed the snow. Glad yur son is moved and settled and that his Mom and Dad could help. My daughter lives about 4 minutes from us, we are so blessed.
You are awesome parents to travel all that distance to get your son settled into his new home.
I am glad our kids all live close. Especially since we get to see our grandkids often. They grow faster than your kids do!
How wonderful you got to spend time with your son...you are the best MOM
I have been dealing with crazy. The Dr's I work for are high ranking members of the Sikh church that had the shooting, one of the people killed was their relative.
I am trying to keep myself sane.
Glad your doing well.
Glad to hear you are home safe and sound. You sure have been moving your kids lately. Thinking of you. Looking to seeing your creations again!
Glad you got DS settled and welcome back to blogland!
