Hello friends!
I'm so sorry that I've been MIA! It's the beginning of gathering all of the tax stuff, etc., so for the next few weeks, I may be a bit scarce in blogland - hope you understand...
Today's card is for a challenge that I saw over at The Angel Company. The challenge is a one-layer card. I had gotten this set of stamps (from my friend Shirley, who's an Angel) last month, and had not yet inked it up - perfect timing to do so! The set is called Marvelous You. There were 4 sentiments, and the focal image for only $10.95!!! Great image for a masculine card, don't you agree?
Stamped with Versafine Brown Ink, Distressed with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink
Hope that you like it!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope to see you on the 25th for our March of the Snowmen!!!
Hugs and Smiles,
Patti J.

Fantastic Masculine card, Patti J.! Wowzer, that was a steal of a set!
This is a great image for male cards.
Great CAS design.
Take care of yourself
What a perfect masculine card any guy would love! I love the scoring that sets off the sentiment!

Great card! Thanks for sharing! I'm a follower now! :) Blessings!
I love it, Patti! What a nice friend. Great scene and I love it stamped on the darker color.

PS: I feel your pain about taxes, back to work two days a week doing Corporate and Personal tax work and accounting for tax season.......I much prefer retirement!! Oh the lure of a paycheck!!
Gorgeous one layer card, Patti. I won't even try that. 2 layer cards are hard enough for me, but one layer...I think that's almost impossible.
Hugs and grins
Wow, fab male card Patti ... love that image and embossing! I agree with Beate, one layer cards are sooooo hard to make, but you nailed it with this one!
Good luck with your tax returns ... definately does not sound like much fun!
I chuckled when I saw the title of your post Patti. I had the same thought and said that to my husband when I did no sewing on my creation..."look ma no sewing on a creation..." It reminds me of the saying "look ma no hands..."There will be a lot of creations without sewing for a while since I don't have a working sewing machine...
Your vintage style is beautiful!! I love the image and the four block design. Great choice of dp and patterns!! Have a great weekend!
hugs,
Chris
Very nice card!
Speaking of fears, you just knocked two more off of your list. . .masculine and cas! Love the browns. . .it could almost pass as vintage too due to the "sepia" look. Love the scoring too. Cool card. Best, Curt
