Last year, my BSFF (best stampin' friend forevah), Shirley, thrilled me at Christmas with a little desk calendar that I absolutely did NOT want to retire at the end of the 2009. We spent a good amount of time on the computer one day printing out a 2010 calendar that could be pasted over the 2009 calendar. Well, with the holidays, etc., 'you know who' never got around to changing her calendar over. But that's okay - it is so stinkin' cute that I figured I could look at it for another 12 months and just not worry about what day it is!
Lo and behold, when Shirley and I got together to exchange our Christmas loot (we spoil each other terribly!), she had made me another calendar for 2010 (SQUEAL!!!). Have I retired last year's calendar yet? Nope! Too cute to take down!
Here are a couple of the pages of Shirley's 2010 calendar (to die for CA-UTE!). This is an A2 sized calendar made from a 1/2 sheet of 8.5 x 11 CS. When the months change, you just take the ribbon out, flip the calendar to the other side, and put the ribbon back in!

Anyway, I was doing a class this morning, and due to surgeries, etc., the numbers kept dribbling down, until I only had four that could make it. So, last night at about 10 p.m., I decided to make each of my 'students' a calendar for my New Year's gift to them. Below are photo's of my calendar before adding the ribbon. Note that I used very quick stamps that required little or no coloring, as it WAS 10 p.m. and I was making four of these! lol...
I hope you like it! I am so blessed that this wonderful hobby that I love has given me such wonderful friends - you all know who you are!
Have a good night!
Patti J.
Food for thought: 111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321 (I know you won't believe me - you will run for your calculator! Grin...)
