My Emotional Support Beverage...

Happy 'almost' Valentine's Day, my friends!
Hope your week is off to a good start, and that it only gets better and better each day.

I have some fun Technique Junkies cards to share today on the Technique Junkies blog
Grab YOUR beverage of choice, and check out these fun cards!

I started out by stamping the image, Morning Joe, onto a white cardstock panel with black ink, then coloring with Copic Markers. It was stamped again onto a post it note, which I used as a mask while stamping the background, 'Coffee Stain' with a tan ink. The panel was matted onto Kraft cardstock, and voila! A quick and colorful, easy card!

I wish the shine was visible...
The coffee mug and inside of the curlers are all embellished with
Glossy Accents.

Next up is another easy, fun card:

I started with a gray card base, and used gray ink and the Damask stencil on the entire base, adding 2 different sized strips of silver glittery Washi Tape at top and bottom of card base.
.
The focal panel, Sisters We Choose, was stamped in black ink onto white cardstock. I stamped it a second time, and colored the hearts and banner with red marker, covered them with glossy accents, and fussy cut each. The focal panel was matted with black cardstock, adhered to the card base, and the fussy cut banner and hearts were popped up with foam dots over top of the stamped image. Very quick card!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Yes, I need these cats!

Hi friends!

I'm sharing two fun cards that I created with stamps from the February release at Technique Junkies.

First up is this fun cat card - everyone that I know that has A cat, has CATS, so this was a fun card to make. I have several folks that this one can go to.  I used the stencil 'Paws', for the background, and 'All These Cats' stamp for the focal panel.

Next up was a quick and easy card.  The focal panel, Nothing But Happiness, was stamped onto white cardstock, and matted onto a green circle the same color as the card base. A fun piece of patterned paper was adhered onto the base, followed by the sentiment circle. Very quick - would work for someone with a new home, or a St. Pat's card!

Remember that until Feburay 8th, you will receive 15% off of any new release items! These will automatically be discounted at check-out - no code needed!

Thanks for dropping by to visit today!

Hugs, Patti J.

Here is the entire new release:

I have two fun cards to share today - here is the first card:

As you all know, we lost our beautiful little fur baby on New Year's Day, so I can say with all my heart that "Life is better with a dog"!!! Catherine Pooler's Midnight Ink was used to stamp this great stamp, Better with a Dog.  I had some absolutely perfect designer paper, so it was adhered to the card base, with a strip of red glitter Washi Tape between the two patterns. Last, a red glittery heart was added to the focal pane. (shhh.....this was to cover an ink spot that my clumsy fingers left on the panel!!!)

and here is card number two:

To create this card, the background, Shamrocks, was stamped in green ink onto white cardstock. The sentiment stamp, Pot of Gold, was stamped onto white cardstock with Memento Black Ink. The image was colored with Copic markers. Using some gold Stickles, I made every other coin or so sparkle. The pot was colored entirely with Glossy Accents for some gloss and shine. While this dried, I cut scraps of rainbow colored cardstock, and adhered them together. Once the focal panel was dry, the scraps were mounted behind the panel, and the entire piece was popped up with dimensional foam.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hop on with the incredible Technique Junkies team, for tons of wonderful inspiration! Here's the hop list:

Catch up #3

Well, here we go again! I'm still working through the things I created the last 2 months, but didn't share. Hope you're not totally bored to tears yet!

My friend Ruth had this hanging on a brown paper bag, as a tag for each of us at one of her classes.
I turned it into a Christmas card!

Another of Ruth's class cards...

And another...

One more!

This one I made using a Stampin' Up set called 'Sending'. I use this set a lot!

Take two...

This is another beautiful stamp from Stampin' Up. NO, I am not and do not plan to become a demonstrator, but I do love some of their products!

This card is another of Ruth's class cards. The image is from Stamps by Judith.

Another card from Ruth's kit...fun!

This is one we made at my friend Sally's Card and a Cuppa. We have so much fun the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays!

Last, but definitely not least! Isn't this card SO much fun? This was another of Ruth's card kit items. Makes you smile, right?

Have a great week!

Hugs to ya'll,
Patti J.

Catching up again (still)...

Whew...

How did I manage to make all of these cards and not share them?  Anyway, here I am with another photo-heavy post, my friends! Hoping to be caught up in a few days, and back to a normal posting routine.

This one was made at a class taught by my friend Ruth:

The next 3 cards are from another Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin' Up.

Here is one more card that was made at Ruth's class!

Thanks for dropping by today - I appreciate your visit!!!

Another Catch-Up Post...

Hi all,

Hope this finds you all well. It's been so quiet here, and hard to get motivated. Now, with tax prep looming, I thought I'd try to get a few posts ready to go before the paperwork buries me!

Here are a bunch of cards that I've forgotten to post. Let me know if you have questions!

This one is made using the Stampin'Up's Christmas Scottie set. SO stinkin' cute!

This one was one my friend, Sally McDonald's Card and a Cuppa projects. We used the Stanpin'Up set 'Paradise Palms'. Sally's daughter lives in Hawaii, so this one was lots of fun to create!

Another Stampin'Up set 'Peace to You' - such a beautiful set!

These 3 cards are also from 'Peace to You' set

These 3 cards are from a Stampin' Up Paper Pumpkin Kit. Cute, and so easy!

Last, we needed a sympathy card. This one uses some pretty designer paper from Hobby Lobby, and a nice sentiment. Can't remember who makes it, but if there is need to know, I'll figure it out!!!

Thanks for stopping by,

Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.

RIP Sweet Sophie

On July 16, 2011, hubby brought home this sweet little girl. I had a ‘name that dog’ contest on my blog, and Sophie was the winning name. We are sad to say that Sophie crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning at doggie E.R. She had been diagnosed with congestive heart failure a couple of months ago, and had a terrible last few days. The labs today showed that her liver and kidneys had shut down. So far, 2023 is not too much fun! Sophie is now running and playing with her doggie sis, Flake, and Wimpy, our grand-dog. Fly high, sweet girl - we love you!
