Oh my...it's been a minute!

So, here I am - needing to catch up again!
I guess that's what my next few posts will be!!!

Seriously, thanks so much for being so patient with my non-posting, and non-commenting. Between a bit of traveling, and a WHOLE LOT of Dr. appointments, it seems I am spending less and less time in my girl cave - we have one more upcoming trip, then I hope to be back on a regular basis.

On a happier note - tomorrow will be our 50th wedding anniversary! Sheesh....can you believe anyone would put up with me for 50 years???  He is a good man, and I feel so blessed that God brought us together!  We are having a date night, and I'm hoping for a Lobster dinner!

Anyway, here are some more cards that I made in a class taught by my friend, Ruth. She comes up with some of the 'funnest' dies to create with!  Hope something you see makes you smile!

Thanks for stopping by!
Tune in for catch-up, part 2 soon!!!

Hugs and blessings during this beautiful spring and Holy season!

Yes, I need these cats!

Hi friends!

I'm sharing two fun cards that I created with stamps from the February release at Technique Junkies.

First up is this fun cat card - everyone that I know that has A cat, has CATS, so this was a fun card to make. I have several folks that this one can go to.  I used the stencil 'Paws', for the background, and 'All These Cats' stamp for the focal panel.

Next up was a quick and easy card.  The focal panel, Nothing But Happiness, was stamped onto white cardstock, and matted onto a green circle the same color as the card base. A fun piece of patterned paper was adhered onto the base, followed by the sentiment circle. Very quick - would work for someone with a new home, or a St. Pat's card!

Remember that until Feburay 8th, you will receive 15% off of any new release items! These will automatically be discounted at check-out - no code needed!

Thanks for dropping by to visit today!

Hugs, Patti J.

Hello there!

You can purchase the 'Gotta Have it All! deal for just $76.02. You can also take 15% off of any February stamps through February 8th. No coupon or code needed - discount will automatically be applied.

Here is the entire new release:

I have two fun cards to share today - here is the first card:

As you all know, we lost our beautiful little fur baby on New Year's Day, so I can say with all my heart that "Life is better with a dog"!!! Catherine Pooler's Midnight Ink was used to stamp this great stamp, Better with a Dog.  I had some absolutely perfect designer paper, so it was adhered to the card base, with a strip of red glitter Washi Tape between the two patterns. Last, a red glittery heart was added to the focal pane. (shhh.....this was to cover an ink spot that my clumsy fingers left on the panel!!!)

and here is card number two:

To create this card, the background, Shamrocks, was stamped in green ink onto white cardstock. The sentiment stamp, Pot of Gold, was stamped onto white cardstock with Memento Black Ink. The image was colored with Copic markers. Using some gold Stickles, I made every other coin or so sparkle. The pot was colored entirely with Glossy Accents for some gloss and shine. While this dried, I cut scraps of rainbow colored cardstock, and adhered them together. Once the focal panel was dry, the scraps were mounted behind the panel, and the entire piece was popped up with dimensional foam.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hop on with the incredible Technique Junkies team, for tons of wonderful inspiration! Here's the hop list:

Going Green at The House that Stamps Built

 Hi there, crafty friends!

It's time for another Repeat Impressions Stamps Designer's Choice challenge at The House that Stamps Built. Shirley has challenged us to create a 'Green' themed card this week - anything green!  What a fitting challenge for March!

Today, I used the heart from the Love stamp. I inked it in green ink, stamped it three times, and fussy cut the hearts. The card was finished with a green bling, and some green washi tape, and a fun sentiment. I didn't have a shamrock stamp from Repeat Impressions, so made this work!

Here's what I made using these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

Hope you like it!

Thanks, Shirley! This was a fun challenge, and I hope you'll all join in!

We hope you will create a card that has a focus on today’s theme, and enter it in our challenge at The House that Stamps Built!  Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them!  Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!
One lucky person this month will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!

Anything Goes at Scor-Pal

Hello friends!

The Scor-Pal team is back! We had a month off, and our Mo-Jo is very excited to be creating again! The February Challenge at Scor-Pal is 'Anything Goes', and we are starting things off nice and easy! Our projects this month will all be easy to do.  Hope you will join in with us this month! Remember that while the theme is 'Anything Goes', your project should include more than one score!

Other exciting Scor-Pal news....we will be having a Design Team call this month! Be sure to hurry over to the Scor-Pal blog and check out the details!!!

Here's what I made:

I'd been seeing these adorable little treat holders here and there on the internet, and decided to give them a try. I created for Valentine's Day, St. Pat's Day, and Easter, so you could see how cute they are for any occasion.  Just look at how tiny they are - each one holds 2 Hershey's Kiss Candies, and the finished measurements are: 2" tall, 1.25" wide, and 1.25" deep.

I think I'll be making a lot of these for special folks! I like to carry treats into the Post Office, favorite stores, etc., so these will be easy to share!

Check back on the 15th of the month for a photo tutorial on how these were created!

We hope to see your creations in our More Than One Fold, 'Anything Goes - Start off EasyScor-Pal challenge!

We also have a ton of inspiration in the Projects section of the Scor-Pal website and also on our Pinterest Board to help you get creative!

Happy December everyone!

St. Pat's fun...

Howdy!

It snowed a bit here this morning, but nothing so far is sticking.  Missouri is so crazy -
73 degrees one day, snow the next :)

Last night, I made some boxes of goodies for a Sunday School class at church.
I'll deliver them early tomorrow morning.  Hope they like them.

Don't forget to change those clocks tonight!

Thanks for popping in today - happy weekend,

Patti J.

Great Impressions March Challenge - Go Green!

Hello Friends!

It is time for a new monthly challenge at Great Impressions!  This month, we are looking for creations with a 'Go Green!' theme:

It's been a while since I used the Triple Stamping Technique, so I decided to give it a whirl.

To do this, I cut three white panels that measured 2 x 3 1/4", 3 x 4 1/4", and 4 x 5 1/4".

I placed these three panels together, as shown, with the sizes going from largest on the bottom, to smallest at the top.  These were 'stuck' together with removable two-sided tape.

Once together, I stamped the sentiment on the smallest panel, and then stamped the 4 Leaf Clover randomly over all three panels, using green ink.

I took these panels apart, and colored in all of the leaves and flowers.

The next step was to cut an A2 base, and a 4 1/2 x 3 1/4, and a 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 panel from green card stock.

Each of the white panels were centered onto the green panels, and voila!

Hmmm....it needed a bit more, so I stamped the 4 Leaf Clover twice more, colored and fussy cut just the clover, and adhered them with dimensional foam directly over the two corner clovers!

Better, right?

That's all for today!
THANKS for stopping by...
I hope you come and join in the fun with our monthly challenge and that you leave some love with the other gals on the DT for their fabulous creations using products from the Great Impressions store as well!
If you ever use Great Impressions stamps, make sure you link up with our Customer Gallery, too!
HUGS and happy stamping!

Going Green...

Hello, friends and family!

I saw that the challenge for March at Great Impressions Stamps, is 'Going Green', and just couldn't resist a clean and simple card of green!  Actually, CAS is all I have had time to create!  This card was truly a 10-minute creation...

Great Impressions Stamps: D405 Just Me. Thinking of You., Amuse cardstock, Great Impressions Shamrock Die, Adirondack "Lettuce" Dye Ink, Kaiser Craft Pearls, Dimensional Foam, Spellbinder's Die.

I folded the card, stamped the darling Great Impressions sentiment with green ink, used a Spellbinder die to cut it out, cut two strips of coordinating Amuse CS for the 'banner', and die cut two shamrocks using an Impression-Obsession die.  Popped up the sentiment with foam squares, added the shamrocks and pearls.  Voila!  Took me much longer to type it than to make it :)    Ha ha...it IS easy being green!!!

Now, on a personal note...

Thanks so much to all who have emailed, or called to check on us.  We are all okay - the last few weeks have just been very busy, leaving me little to no time to even check email, much less, create.  I appreciate each of you who have e-mailed, facebook messaged, or called to see about me.  We have a lot of personal changes going on in our lives, and they have been time consuming, and emotionally stressful, leaving me with very little computer time.  Hopefully, by mid-April or so, things will be back to more of a normal routine.
In the meantime, if I don't get by to see you, hang in there!  I am zipping by, and peeking in on you, just not able to comment on every post.

Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.
