My Emotional Support Beverage...

Happy 'almost' Valentine's Day, my friends!
Hope your week is off to a good start, and that it only gets better and better each day.

I have some fun Technique Junkies cards to share today on the Technique Junkies blog
Grab YOUR beverage of choice, and check out these fun cards!

I started out by stamping the image, Morning Joe, onto a white cardstock panel with black ink, then coloring with Copic Markers. It was stamped again onto a post it note, which I used as a mask while stamping the background, 'Coffee Stain' with a tan ink. The panel was matted onto Kraft cardstock, and voila! A quick and colorful, easy card!

I wish the shine was visible...
The coffee mug and inside of the curlers are all embellished with
Glossy Accents.

Next up is another easy, fun card:

I started with a gray card base, and used gray ink and the Damask stencil on the entire base, adding 2 different sized strips of silver glittery Washi Tape at top and bottom of card base.
.
The focal panel, Sisters We Choose, was stamped in black ink onto white cardstock. I stamped it a second time, and colored the hearts and banner with red marker, covered them with glossy accents, and fussy cut each. The focal panel was matted with black cardstock, adhered to the card base, and the fussy cut banner and hearts were popped up with foam dots over top of the stamped image. Very quick card!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Between Coffee and Wine

Hello friends!

Today, I'm sharing another fun card that I made, using a new stamp, Between Coffee and Wine, from the April release at Technique Junkies.

I know a lot of coffee and wine drinkers! Unfortunately, I cannot drink either, but I know some folks that may get a card with this fun stamp!

Here's what I made:

I began by using an older background stamp, Coffee Stain. This was stamped onto Kraft cardstock with brown ink, matted onto blue, and adhered to a Kraft card base. Next, Between Coffee and Wine was stamped onto Kraft cardstock using brown ink, then again onto white cardstock using blue ink. The white coffee cup was fussy cut, and popped up on card with a dimensional dot. The panel was matted with blue, and adhered to card front.

Someone you know drinks coffee and wine, and 'NEEDS' a card made with this stamp!

Don't forget!!! You can save 10% (on any order that isn't already discounted), by entering TJ10Patti at checkout!

Be sure to head over to the Technique Junkies store and do a little crafty shopping!

Hugs and smiles,
Patti J.

Technique Junkies November Release Blog Hop

Happy NOVEMBER Release Day!

We have New Stamps and stencils in the Technique Junkies line!

This month we are proud to offer 2 new Technique Junkies stencils, also!

Here's what I made:

I made the background by stamping on Kraft Cardstock. The coffee mug was actually a TINY die that I punched out, laid on my copier and enlarged until it was big enough to hold the sentiment. I cut it our of white cardstock, used some masking and ink blending brushes to create the center section, then stamped the sentiment. The lid was enlarged, cut out, scored, and adhered to the top of the coffee cup. Love the way this one turned out!

This next card was created with #SD1055 French Script Ballerina, and #SDX180 Dreaming with your feet. The image was stamped onto white cardstock, then masked off. Once masked, I used the Shining Star Stencil from the October release. Then, using the same ink color and the Ink Blending Brushes, I blended the panel and card base, prior to removing the mask. Voila!

Be sure to check out the list below for some sweet inspiration from our Design Team!

Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge - Brewed Quartet

Hello!

It's nearly Thanksgiving, and I hope that you are all going to be able to enjoy some special family time.  We are having friends in, as none of our kids can make it in for the holiday.
We are looking forward to a nice day.

It's time for another Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge at The House that Stamps Built!

Here is Wendy's great sketch:

And...here is what I made:

There is an entire page of 'Quartet' stamps at Repeat Impressions!
For this card, I used '8512-U Brewed Quartet'.
The stamp actually comes as a square, with all four pieces in sort of a grid.
I stamped the image, and then very carefully cut each piece out and rounded
corners to achieve this pattern.

Hope you like it!
Hop over to the Repeat Impressions store, and see what other quartets are wanting
to come live with you!!!

I hope you'll check out my fellow Rock Stars' blogs, to see what they did with this fun sketch!
