All is Calm

 Hello Friends!

I'm up on the Technique Junkies blog to share a pretty card, using some awesome stamps from Technique Junkies.

Here's what I made:

I used Snow Covered Pines, All is Calm, and Snowman to create this card. First, the trees were stamped onto a white panel, using a dark blue ink. Then, I used a glue pen and some irridescent glitter to give the trees some winter snow. The snowman was stamped, colored with Copic markers, fussy cut, and popped up in front of the trees. I added a bit of white 'fluff' from my stash to his hat and pom pom. The sentiment was stamped in blue on a white scrap, and adhered to the top left corner of the card, and also on the envelope for fun.

So glad you stopped by today!

Words as Focal Point

Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at The House that Stamps Built! Our challenge for this week is 'Use your sentiment/words as your focal point'.

Here's what I made:

This photo shows the glitter paper a bit better!

I stamped the sentiment repeatedly on the card base on a diagonal slant, prior to creating my scene!  I used that fabulous glitter paper again for my hill and trees. It does not flake off, and is the best thing since sliced bread - seriously!

I used these Repeat Impressions' stamps:

Let's see your projects! Remember, you don't HAVE to use Repeat Impressions Stamps, but if you do, you have double the chance of winning!

Let it Snow!

Hello!

It's time for a new challenge at The House that Stamps Built! Our challenge for this week is 'Black, White + One Other Color'.

Here's what I made:

I stamped on some fun glitter paper for the printer that I found at Wal-Mart, thanks to my friend Shirley telling me to go look! The hat, bird, and scarf were colored with a Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen. I added some red glittery rick rack washi tape, and cut a section of the white glitter paper in a zig zag pattern to fit between the red pieces.

Christmas will be here before we know it!

I used these Repeat Impressions' stamps:

Baby it's Cold Outside!

Hello crafty friends!

I'm here today with a mid-month reminder for the Jan's Digi Stamps challenge for the month of November. We hope you'll enter a card!  Now...If you've never been to Jan's site, and looked at her images, you need to go! She offers both black and white, and colored images, and they are all so beautifully done!

The set I've used today is called Baby, It's Cold Outside, and can be found at Jan's Digi Stamps

I've created a couple of cards with this fun new set. They made me smile, and hope that you like them, as well.

Here's my first card:

I used the fun new set 'Baby it's Cold Outside' focal panel. For this card, I chose to use a pre-colored image. I just chose the image, added the sentiment, and pushed print! Easy peasy! You can't tell from the photo, but I've added some Wink of Stella to hat, scarf, bow, mittens, and mugs, and it's SO cute!

Here's the next card:

I used the same patterned paper in the background, so you could see how different the images can look when worked up a bit differently. This time, I worked with a black and white image. The first image, I made a big large, and then brought the same image in much smaller, and placed it in front of the larger image, hoping for a mother-daughter look. What do you think? Look like mom and her little? This image was colored with Copic markers. The snow at the bottom is a shimmery embossing powder. I 'drew' on the snowbank with an embossing marker, and heat embossed with the powder.

That's all I have for you today! Hope to see you enter the November challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back in a couple of weeks with some more fun creations!

Hugs and grins,
Patti J.

Night Snow

Hello there!

I have a pretty card to share today!

Isn't this one of the prettiest stamps you've ever seen?  Wow! Just WoW!  I stamped Night Snow using a deep blue ink, added a strip of 1/8" Washi tape, matted panel with white, and adhered to a deep blue card base. The sentiment from my new favorite sentiment set Four Little Sentiments, was stamped on white, with a strip of Washi Tape below, for a bit of sparkle.

YES, the fence is part of this stamp! Gorgeous, right?

Super easy! Give it a try!

So glad you stopped by today!

Noses are red

Hi there! I have a pretty, glossy winter card to share with you today.

This card uses Technique Junkies 'S885 Skating' and 'SS130 Inside Out: I Love Snow' (set of TEN!!!)

I had some trouble with photographing this one. I wanted the shine to show, but then, there was this annoying glare, so it is what it is - you just have to trust me!  The stamping was done with Versamark and heat embossed with Speckled Egg Embossing Glaze. It's SO pretty in real life!

The inside sentiment says: "I'm tired of winter, how 'bout you"?  So cute! Love these sentiments!

Technique Junkies stamps make such beautiful cards!

Wanna build a Snowman?

Hi there!

It's my day to post on the Technique Junkies Design blog, and I'd like to share two fun cards that I created, with some new release products!  And don't forget - All of the January 2021 New Release stamps are 15% off through January 8th! We can all use a little bargain, right? No codes needed, just put them in your shopping cart and the discount will be applied at checkout.

My first card uses 2 new releases: 'SS130 Inside Out: I Love Snow Set of 10', and 'SDX177 Small Snowflake Trio, Set of 3', and an older image 'SD966 Snowman'.The image was stamped onto white cardstock, and colored with Copic Markers. The snowflakes were then stamped using some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. To finish this card front, a dot of Glossy Accents was added to each snowflake center, and to the eyes, nose, mouth, buttons and pom pom on hat. The panel was trimmed, and adhered to a blue card base.

The inside of the card cracks me up - I love this fun sentiment set!!!

Here's another fun winter card. This image is: 'SD1040 Snow Somewhere Else', and was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut. I used some Distress Oxide Inks, 'Ink Blending Brushes', a spritz of 'Shimmering Bliss Chestnut Mare', a few drops of water, and a couple of fun die cuts to complete this card.

The January 'Gotta Have it All' Bundle is $94.80. Normally, this would be $126.30 - what a great deal! Here's what you'll get:
