Hello!
It's Release day at Technique Junkies! We have some great new stamps for you, and all of them are 15% off through Oct. 8th! No codes are needed, just put them in your shopping cart and the discount will be applied at checkout.
There is an awesome Gotta Have it All Bundle, and a little preview of the new stamps!
Wow! It's time to be making those cards for winter and Christmas! I've had so much fun with these new seasonal stamps! I chose today, to use the beautiful #S916 Christmas Frame for the background on each of these cards, and #SS142 Light of Faith for sentiments.
Here is my first card:
I could NOT get this one to photograph! Even purchased a new light box, but no go. Mama said there'd be days like this! I colored the image with Copics, and a white gel pen for highlighting, and fussy cut the image. The center portion of the 'frame' was ink blended using some Ink Blending Brushes, and the sentiment was stamped with black ink. Once the panel was finished, it was adhered to a panel of silver metallic cardstock (not black!). The card base is deep green.
Here is the same background stamp, and a sentiment from the set above. These were heat embossed in gold, and matted onto a burgandy colored base and sentiment panel.
Which one is your favorite?

They are both so pretty, Patti - but I do prefer the second one. The gold is stunning!
Traditional Christmas for you today too! So pretty Patti!
Both cards are so gorgeous using that wonderful Christmas frame design!
Your cards are darling. The first one rocks with all those pretty colours. The gold embossing on the next card is elegant. Except for all the time it would take heat embossing, this would make a great card to make multiples of.
That's such a beautiful stamp, it looks great no matter how it's used. I honestly can't choose a favorite, as I love them both. I've only got about 1/3 of my Christmas cards done, so I really need to get a move on. Thanks for the inspiration!
Well the second one really is beautiful - and I bet the first one IRL is just a pretty - what a nice release this month.
Nope don't have a favourite .... they're BOTH fabulous Patti and I love the different effects from your beautiful stamp. I need to get a shift on with my Christmas cards, I'm so far behind schedule!! xx
