Ewe Rock! and a bit of sponging....

Before I get to the challenge, I want to say thanks to all of you who drop by here each day, and leave such wonderful comments! It's hard to thank each of you personally, and I appreciate every kind word. I have been incredibly busy the last week or two, so please forgive me if I don't get around to each of your blogs every day. I'm trying to find a balance between this never ending remodeling job, doing the business end of my DH's construction work, and play time for self! I'll get it figured out soon!

So, my card for tonight is pretty quick! Monday's challenge at 365 Cards was to make a card using homophone(s). What a unique and fun challenge! I have loved looking at all of the participants cards - they are awesome - you should go check them out! I used no stamping tonight - this card is strictly scrap DP, and computer generated sentiments. Hope it brings a smile to your face. I remembered one of our teachers at school giving us this one year, and looked until I found it!!! Enjoy...

Good morning! Decided to just add my sponging card for 365 Cards challenge to this entry, since it's only been up a little while!

Stamps are TAC, sponged with Stampin' up, Stickled shower cap and buttles, made center line and colored with Sharpies! Saw this idea on Chelsea Comer's blog a year or so ago, and I hope this is sorta what I remembered!!!

Until tomorrow...

Peace out dudes and dudettes! I'm weary, and headed for bed!

I love this poem, it is such a reminder to us all how some of our students process and see the world. Thanks for sharing it.

lol Now, your card today does make me laugh Patti!
That it just too fun!

I hear ya about balancing! I haven't figured it out yet! My hubby is in construction too. We have our own business, actually he's a woodsmith...makes furniture/cabinets...which usually leads to remodeling! So I do the business end too...along with homeschooling, running a household of six...geesh, in the natural realm, I shouldn't even have a hobby! lol
Well, Patti, I'm glad you're blogging and sharing your talent with us even though your 'unbalanced'! lol
take care, my friend!
blessings, Maria

I'm embarrassed to say I didn't know what a homophone was. Very cool.

And what an adorable skunk taking a bath in a barrel. ha!
