Hello!
So glad you dropped in to see me today!
It's time for a new challenge at The House that Stamps Built! Our challenge for this week is to use a 'Shimmer and Shine' theme on our cards.
What a fun theme! I can't wait to see your Shimmer and Shine!
Here's what I created for this challenge:
Sadly, it seems I always need a sympathy card. I decided to use a much hoarded piece of shimmery cardstock for this card. This was an easy one. I stamped the sentiment, mounted it onto gold cardstock, and assembled my layers...ta da, ta done.
I used this lovely Repeat Impressions' stamp:
Let's see your 'Shimmer and Shine' projects!! Remember, you don't HAVE to use Repeat Impressions Stamps, but if you do, you have double the chance of winning!
I can't wait to see your beautiful scene cards!!!
Check out my sidebar to see how you can save money on your RI orders!
Now, it's time to see what my DT friends have created!
Happy Hopping!

Absolutely stunning I can see why you hoarded that special piece of beautiful paper. Just a sentiment and card is finished.
This is beyond gorgeous Patti!
Wonderful background design for your beautiful card.
Ooooo . . . that paper is gorgeous!!! I can totally understand why you've been hoarding it! And your card is gorgeous as well! Simple and elegant enough for a sympathy card.
Holy cow that is some awesome paper!! Makes me want to go through my stash and add a sentiment to a card now! LOL!! I've never seen paper like that, but I would have to stop and buy it for sure if I did! Love this Patti!
This card is so lovely. In your pretty DSP, I see a seashore scene, with the tips of the gentle waves sparkling in the sunshine. It's calming and soothing--perfect for a sympathy card.
Wow, that patterned paper is stunning and makes a gorgeous card. Love it!
Enjoy your day.
Hugs,
Lena
Wonderful paper! Makes a gorgeous sympathy card.
I'd hoard a piece of designer paper like this too - what a lovely sympathy card it makes! Love it!
Beautiful card Patti! Your fancy DP reminds me of those really colourful rock crystals!
