Don't Judge Me

 Hi there!

It's my day to post on the Technique Junkies Design blog, and I'd like to share one beautiful background stamp used two ways, using some of the wonderful September release products!

These cards feature an awesome new background stamp, Leaves and Dragonflies.

This first card front was stamped with Versamark Ink, and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I chose a pretty green ink, and using my Ink Blending Brushes, I blended the ink over the entire panel.  The sentiment, 'Heaven in Our Hearts', was stamped with the green ink.

For this card, the same background was used. I used the Ink Blending Brushes to blend on some really vibrant ink colors, then using the Ink Blending Brushes again, I blended some gray over the entire panel. Finally, I blended some black around the edges. The sentiment, 'Mile on my Broom', was heat embossed on vellum using a Medieval Metals embossing powder, and adhered to a piece of cardstock. This circle of cardstock was popped up, and some black ink blended around the outside edge.

These cards were both very easy to make, but look difficult! Technique Junkies background stamps make such awesome cards!

This September release is amazing! Can't wait to share more!

Your cards are beautiful. You really know how to make the background stamp shine. I was totally stumped therefore I turned to Halloween stamps instead. You rock!

That background really is beautiful! And inking with those blending brushes is so much fun, isn't it? These are two great cards. I think I need to take another look at my background stamps and pick one out for a little inky fun myself.

OMG, I love that background and I love that you used it two different ways, brilliant!
Sorry I haven't been around, have been making face masks like crazy. Now making them for teachers with a vinyl window over the lips so the children can see them smile and talk. My daughter is a kindergarten teacher and I made her a couple and it just ballooned. But, I am glad I can help.

Super cards!!

Sue
