Pandemic Card - My Pick of the Week!

 Hi everyone!

It's my turn to share a Pick of the Week at The House that Stamps BuiltThe Repeat Impressions Stamps that I picked to showcase are:

Here's what I made!  With all of us wearing our masks, it seemed like a good time to make a Pandemic card. We miss our kids and grandkids so bad - haven't seen them since January and February. When we get together, we will hug for a week!

Let's get started!

You'll need a scrap of designer paper.I cut this one to 3 5/8" x 4 1/4". With the short side at the top of your scoring board, score at 1", 1/25", 1/75", 2", 2.5", and 2.75" as shown below.

Next, flip your panel over, and add some adhesive of choice. I used Scor-Tape. The adhesive will go in the spaces between your scoring lines that measure 1/4". There should be 3 of them.

Next, flip your paper back over, and fold each edge up, being sure that the adhesive grabs. Use your bone folder to press a good, firm line. Do this for all three fold lines.

Here is what it should look like on the back. Add a couple of scraps of twine. Mine are 3.5" long. Tape them down to hold them temporarily.

Add some score tape to each side edge, and some dimensional foam on the middle and adhere to your card base!

To make my card base, I stamped the Tumbling Hearts in light pink ink on the upper portion of the card front. The sentiment was stamped in black, then moved ever so slightly to stamp again in the pale pink, giving a shadow effect.

Hope you like this - Have fun making your own supply of paper masks!

For this week only (September 28-October 4, 2020), get 20% off the two stamps used in my creation above when you use the coupon code POTW92820.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.
