Power Poppy Challenge and some Treats for Friends

Hi there!

Gosh, can't believe I haven't posted in a few weeks!

I'm going to stop jabbering and share what I worked on last week and last night!

Last night, I colored this image, and made this card today, for the challenge at Power Poppy. The  'You Say It's Your Birthday' challenge, just requires a birthday card! I used the 'Layer Cake' digital stamp set for the card. If you've never shopped there, you really should! Marcella is a St. Louis girl, and so very talented! Her images are just gorgeous, and such fun to create with.

So...last week, I made these for some friends at church:

You know how sometimes you get a $1 stamp someplace and use it until you wear it out? Yep, that's this one! Found it at Michael's I think, about 5-6 years ago, and reach for it a lot. Then, while shopping at Schnuck's, I saw these Lindt Truffle packages, and thought, AHA! Hope they liked them!

Thanks for stopping by today,

Hugs and smiles!
Patti J.

Sweet card! That cake looks so yummy! I've never tried to actually make one with so many layers, but maybe I could color one! Your treats look very festive, too, with your dollar stamp from Michael's. I agree that sometimes those are the ones we use ove and over.

Patti, darling birthday card. I didn't know Marcella did anything other than flowers. Lol. I have loved her work since she was with Flourishes, llc. Okay, those are some darling candy bag toppers. These are cute little gifts to have ready if someone surprises you with one. Oh, even a gift for a neighbor. THANKS FOR THE INSPIRATION!

Saw these on my phone as well. That cake card is delicious. You coloured it up so well.

I'm in love with your decorated candy and would love to do something like that for my coworkers next year. This year they are all getting knitted dishcloths by me put into a Christmas celophane bag with a hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works. The bag will have decorative bells on the closer.
