We have a winner, and a new question!

Hello friends, and Happy Saturday!

We are going to have a beautiful day in Missouri - SUNSHINE and FORTY THREE degrees! Oh, yeah, I'm lovin' this forecast! The sun is already tempting me to be outside today, rather than inside! Of course, look out Monday and Tuesday - freezing rain, sleet, and snow predicted.

Hope you are enjoying a beautiful day, as well!

Thanks to everyone who attended the March of the Snowmen Blog Hop!!!

Weren't there some amazing projects out there this year? I would have a tough time choosing a favorite! A bit later in the post, I'll tell you who the lucky winner of my blog candy was!!!

First, I have a new question for the smartest readers in the world!!!

I would love to know what kind of paper/cardstock that you all use for digital printing, and for coloring! Do you use one type for copics, and another for waterbased markers and colored pencils? Where do you find the best prices on your papers/cardstocks?

I know that's more than one question, but it's all related! I'll draw a winner for an itty-bitty blog candy from all who comment on this post! As usual, if you are a follower, your name will go in twice!

Thanks for being patient with me this week - my computer is pretty much shot. I think it's time to purchase a new one....ugh...who's got money for that???

Okay, on to official business!

The winner of my blog candy from March of the Snowmen is:
THE HOOSIER STAMPER
Please email me at mamagilliam@gmail.com so I can get all of your details for your gift card to Joan's Gardens!
How much fun! The Hoosier Stamper is a brand new follower!
Have a wonderful weekend, dear friends!
Back tomorrow with a Stampin Sisters in Christ card.
Hugs,
Patti J.

yeah, it's already 35F here but no sun.

i use georgia pacific white for printing & coloring my digis. i do not have a problem with it at all. if you print out digis and let them sit for a while (maybe an hr) i don't get any bleeding.

hope this helps.

hugs :) and congrats to the lucky winner!!!!

Congrats Hoosier Stamper!!!
Like Stef I also use GP white. The key is to let the printer ink have time to really dry well. I find when it's very humid it takes a bit longer. I never get any bleeding either.
Blessings Bernie

Congrats to Hoosier Stamper!!!! I use Neeneh Solar White 80lb...it works really well with copics and I, too, let the digi print out sit at least a couple of hours or overnight!

I use a cardstock by Wausau. It has a semi slick top coat (great for pencils/oms), and it is 110# weight. I actually use it to for stamping most of my images, especially my House Mouse images. You get 250 sheets for about $13. That is a little over 5 cents a sheet. Not bad! Best, Curt

Hi Pattie!
If I'm colouring with Copics I love to use X-Press It Blending Card A4 250grm....It is just the best for Copic Markers (I've tried a few!) The ink flows so well and is easy to blend. Annabelle sells for 60c a sheet (Aus) not the cheapest option but the best end result. Not really a base weight so need to use a heavier card. For printing digital paper I use a 190grm Color Copy,Color laser, color print called YES from my local Stationary Warehouse. (Made in Germany) 250 A4 sheets for just under Aus $20
Works OK with Prismas too. For Watercolour I use Arches Watercolour Paper which is 300 grms and maufactured by Canson.
Got to say I'm searching for a reasonably priced base weight of 300 grm at the moment .......pretty limited here!!!!
Take care Sue

Hello Patti. I use Gina K Designs Pure Luxury for my digi images and I print them with a brother laser printer. I have printed with a HP ink jet in the past and I had to heat the image before coloring with copics. With the laser printer I can start coloring right away. The only problem I have is that the paper is so thick that the paper jams sometimes. I have found that it is easier if I only have one sheet of paper in the tray at a time. I hope this helps.
