Some Valentine Fun

 Hi there!

Just a little fun with Valentines to share with you today!

These were all computer generated sentiments, and a little of this and that!

Love me some googly eyes!

Gotta love a fun heart shaped punch! (and googly eyes!)

Fun for your favorite medical person!

These are so shiny! Used LOTS of Glossy Accents!

What fun! Used an old Great Impressions stamp set on this one.

This one uses some sweet little deer dies. Miss our deer, since we moved into town!

That is all I have for today!

Have a great day,
Patti J.

Valentine Wishes

Hi there! I have a fun card to share with you today.

This card uses Technique Junkies 'Valentine Wishes', and 'Valentine Heart Border' and just makes me smile - love the colorful pop of red and black on white, and what a sweet, whimsical sentiment!

The sentiment was stamped in black and highlighted with a red Copic marker. The background was stamped a few times in red ink, and decorated with red stickles...gotta love sparkle, right? The sentiment was popped up with foam dots and adhered to background panel..

I think this turned out well! This will go to my hubby! I feel so lucky to have him. He had Covid, and became sick the end of November. It was apparently one of the more severe cases. There were a couple of days that I was hoping for the best, but thinking the worst. He's doing better each day, and since he basically missed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, I think he really deserves a pretty, sparkly card!

I love my Technique Junkies stamps!

Here's a card that I created using two of the stamps that are on sale, 'A Little Birthday Wish', and 'Flourished Floral'.

As December is an 'anything goes' month for the design team, I decided to create with this cute stamp 'You Stole My Heart'.  I also used the 'Heart Fade Stencil', 'Ink Blending Brushes', and 'Stardust Heat Transfer Foil'. Isn't he just the cutest?

This image just shows all of his sparkle and gloss...we can't resist a cute, sparkly, glossy puppy, right?

I have one more card to share. This is another great stamp that had not yet seen ink, 'Just a Hug'.
This was stamped in Versamark, and heat embossed with a pretty blue embossing powder from my OLD stash. The focal panel was stenciled using the Ink Blending Brushes, and the 'Technique Junkies Shining Star Stencil'. The edges of the panel were inked, then the panel was adhered to the card base, and stenciled again, so that the card base was included in the stenciling.

Technique Junkies products make such great cards!

Pick of the Week

Hi everyone!
It's my turn to share a Pick of the Week at The House that Stamps Built. The Repeat Impressions Stamps that I picked to showcase are:

It's that time of year, right?....the time when you scramble for a Valentine, or Anniversary/Wedding card...  I thought it would be fun to share a way to create several cards from on small square sheet!  Grab a cup of coffee, and we'll make some stuff!

Here's what I made from one 6" x 6" sheet of stamped & embossed cardstock:

Let's get started!

First you need a 6" x 6" square of patterned paper or cardstock (I chose cardstock!)

Next, choose your stamps. I wanted to make this an all over design, creating my own patterned paper, so I chose the heart from the Love Stencil set.

Stamp the image randomly all over your sheet, using Versamark Ink. I stamped about 1/4 of the sheet at a time, and sprinkled on my embossing powder as I went. Once all your images are stamped, and powder sprinkled on, heat emboss your sheet. It will look like this:

Isn't this pretty???

Next, cut your sheet as follows. I first cut a 4" strip, all the way down.
Then I cut that into a 4" x 4" piece, which left a 4" x 2" section.
I neglected to photograph that I also cut the 4" x 4" square diagonally, forming two triangle shaped pieces.
Now, you are left with a 2" strip.
Lay that on your trimmer with the long edge at the top. Cut at 3", 4", and 5".

Your sheet will now look like this:

You're ready to create!
Here are the 5 cards that I was able to create using these bits and pieces, and some fun and amazing Repeat Impressions stamps:

Ta-da, - Ta-done!

Wouldn't this make a nice gift set for someone?

Hope you will give this a try - it really is easy and fast, makes such a fun project! It's also a great way to use those scraps of cardstock that we tend to save ration hoard!!!

For this week only (Jan. 27-Feb.1, 2020), get 20% Off the stamps used in Patti's creation above when you use the coupon code POTW12720.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hugs and blessings,

Lots of Chocolate Bars!

Howdy, friends!

I made up some fun candy wraps for the small sized candy bars, and thought I'd share them today. They can be decorated for any occasion, and you get 10 of the bars for just over one dollar, so what a bargain!

I'd love to take credit for this design, but I found it on Angie Juda's blog: chicnscratch.com

Here's the 'recipe' for success!

Cardstock Base: 7.5" x 3.5"
Cut and score on long side at: 1.25", 1 5/8", 2 7/8" 3.25"
Designer paper: Cut one at 3.25" x 3.25"
Cut one at 3.25" x 1"

Once you score the cardstock, you will know where to attach your Designer Papers, and where to adhere your Scor-Tape (or adhesive of choice).

Have fun with these - Once pieces were cut, I made ALL of these in 2 hours while in my recliner with my feet up!

Hugs,
Patti J.
