Oh, Baby!

Today's card is for the Mojo Monday 124 Challenge.

The focal image stamp is from the TAC, Just Bee-Cuz, that I received from my best ever stamping bud, Shirley, for Christmas - Isn't it a gorgeous vintage baby buggy? The sentiment is from the TAC Ordinary Greetings set, and the DP is from the Just Dreamy 2 line. I received this fabulous DP in a wonderful prize package after winning a challenge at Stamptacular Sunday a few weeks ago. The solid cardstock, the flowers, and the ribbon are also from the prize package (it was definitely like Christmas again).

This is the inside of the card...

I am also entering this card at:

Pile It On: Use non-winter colors

Artful Inkables: Think Spring

Cute Card Thursday: Blooming Gorgeous (flowers!)

Scrap, Stamp, & Doodle: Open Challenge

Saturday Spotlight: Bigger is Better (my huge flower)

Thank you for stopping by!

Have a great night...

At the Beach...

At the Beach...Brrrr...don't we wish!

Help...I've fallen and I can't get up! (lol)

Mary's challenge #60 at House Mouse, is to use the "On the Beach" Theme.
At first, I didn't think I had a thing to create with. Then BAM, it hit me!
While I was at Hobby Lobby the other day, their stamps were all 50% off,
and I bought this cutie patootie! So... here is my card!

I had some scraps in my stash - one looked like sand, and the other like ocean waves, and another scrap that had these flip flops. The 'drink' is pink - all coloring is done with my Koh-I-Noor pencils.

_

I am also entering this card at Pile it On, where challenge #30 is 'Clear'. As you can see, I've put Clear Laquer on the glass, so I think this works!

_

Also, the challenge at Creative Card Crew is 'Distressing'. I have distressed everything here with my Colorbox Chalk Chestnut Roan Ink and a sponge.

_

I had dinner tonight at Los Margurita's with my BF Tami, and OMG, I ate WAY too much, and am so full! I can't believe it's been over four months since we have gotten together. Tami is one of the few things I miss about working! We worked together from 1996-2008. Love ya Tam!

_

DH got to his jobsite today (4.5 hr. drive) to find a busted water main, so he's wet from the waist down, high temp there today was 20, so believe me when I tell you he is shivering HIS timbers!!!

_

Well, I'm off to think about what I'm going to do on a project due the 10th!

_

Hope that you are all staying warm and healthy, and are enjoying this wonderful life!

What a glorious day...

We are having September weather in November! Go figure! In September, we were having November weather, so I guess it is only fair! Anyway, today is absolutely glorious. Slight breeze, temp of about 60, NO RAIN, and plenty of sunshine. Life is good!

I only have one card to bring you today. I'm going to be pretty busy working up craft fair items for next Saturday, so I will probably be scarce this week. If I don't make it to your blogs, please forgive me, and I'll make up for it the following week!

This card features Nina's beautiful sketch for this week at There's Magic in The Air. I played a little with the bottom edge and the background to make it look like a wall and countertop. The 'shiny' is Glossy Accents. All coloring was done with my colored pencils and mineral spirits.

The challenge at Pile it On, was to make a Thank You card. The sentiment on this card is a TAC sentiment, and fulfills the Thank You requirement! OOPS! The challenge changed while I was looking the other way. It is now to use a leaf or leaves on our projects. I'm hoping this will still qualify!

Hope you like it, and that your Sunday is full of wonderful blessings.

Hugs! Patti J.

Trick or Treat!

Here is a little something I enjoyed putting together tonight! I'll start by showing you the Mojo Monday Sketch for this week, which I followed on my project!

Instead of stamping on the large rectangle, I made a rectanular window, showing the yummy candy inside my Trick or Treat Wrapper that I created for the Cuttlebug Spot Challenge!

Here is a shot of the back so that you can see the beautiful argyle embossing!
The orange strip at the bottom is just part of the purple box cover that I sponged with orange Stampin'Up Ink until it was orange!
Last but not least, here is what's inside the matchbox! Yum... Isn't this purple candy corn just too much fun? So pretty!!!

I am also going to hop over to Pile it On, where the challenge is "Ready for Halloween". I think this should qualify!

Off to get some sleep. Take care...

I wish I was a glow worm...

Good Morning!
**********

Yesterday, while reading a daily post at Kimberley's Kard Kreations, I noticed that she has a Thought for the Day. I couldn't help but 'borrow' it for today's card! (Kimberley has an adorable blog - be sure to drop in and say hi!) I'll tell you what it was in a minute or two!!!

**********

First.... every Monday morning, Nina posts a free digital image at There's Magic in the Air. What makes these extraordinarily special, is that Nina designs and illustrates these herself. Very talented lady!!!

*********

This week's free image was Eldon. Now Eldon is just absolutely the CA-utest worm that I think I've ever seen! When I saw Eldon, I knew that I had to find time to work something up using this adorable image. Then when I saw Cindy Hafner's fabulous sketch (above) at Crazy4Challenges, I knew exactly what I was going to create with Eldon!

Back now for a moment, to Kimberley's Thought for the Day... It was this:

**********

I wish I was a glow worm,

A glow worm's never glum.

'Cos how can you be grumpy

When the sun shines out your bum!

**********

See what I mean? How could a girl that is about to post the CA-utest worm she's ever seen NOT use that little poem? Lol...perfect for this lil' Eldon, isn't it?

I am entering this card at:

Pile it On: Use Punches

Recipe: Image from There's Magic in the Air, DCWV CS and DP. Nestie, Kooh-I-Noor Colored Pencils and Low Odor Mineral Spirits, Ribbon brads by Karen Foster, Tombow Markers, Stampin' Up Bashful Blue, Stampin' Up Wild Wasabi, Starburst Gel Pen.

**********

This next card also features some artwork by one of our own bloggers! Stef, aka, Glitterbabe, drew this gorgeous daffodil! She offered it up free yesterday, and I couldn't resist. I snagged it, and created this card with it. Stef - you go girl!!! Head over and check out Stef's blog - I guarantee you will laugh out loud today!!!

**********

I used this sketch, from Inky's Delight, and added some butterflies for Flutterby Wednesday. I think it turned out very soft and pretty, but as is the case sometimes, the photo doesn't do it the justice that real life does! You can't tell in the photo, but the DP (by Provo) is Glitter paper (in honor of Glitterbabe, of course!). Colored again with KIN/LOMS.

Okay, my friends... It's Thursday, and I have a ton of chores to do. I sort of put them off yesterday. I did, however go back to Curves, so Kudo's to me for that! I had approximately 400 excuses and reasons to NOT go back, and DD overruled them all! She's right...I know I'll feel better if I take off about 80 lbs... It's just SO tough! It surely goes on easier than it comes off - one of life's NOT FAIR moments! lol...

**********

Hope your day is fantastic!

Blessings...Patti J.

My first 4-fer!

So, today, I created my first ever 4-fer! Whew! My brain is smokin' - I'll sleep like a baby tonight! I have re-vised this! I have created my first ever FIVE-fer!

First up, is the Mojo Teresa sketch for today. As Mojo turns 100 this week, the DT are posting sketches every day this week! I'm one for three.... got some catching up to do! Anyway, below is the sketch. Note that, as usual, I turned the sketch on it's end - sorry! I really tried not to!

I also followed the ABC Challenge for week two, which is: "B is for Buttons" (note the two teensy buttons on the wheels!)

Then, of course, there was the 365 Cards challenge!!! The theme is ABC's and 123's - We were to use alphabet stickers, and at least one number sticker. I don't know if you can read the little silver stickers or not - they say "SK8R"...

Last, but not least, the challenge at Pile it On, was to create a masculine card for boy or man. Done! (Thanks Lisa!!!)

Last (really!) thanks to Maria, I have also posted this on the Lots to do Challenge. This week is an open theme - post anything, so I posted this darling little Ian!!! He's too cute NOT to share!

Supplies: Stamp: Skater Ian (The Greeting Farm) DCWV Rockstar and Indian Summer Fall Mat Packs, Versafine Black Ink, Kooh-I-Noor Pencils, Letter/Number Stickers

Well, hope you are all well. I am going to blurf for a few minutes, watch the Cardinals play ball (DH flew out today to watch some baseball with DS), and work on my birth announcement order!

Have a wonderful night!!!

Patti J.
