Catching up again!

 Happy Thursday!

Once again, I'm behind in sharing some things. I'll try harder to keep up in the future! Maybe I should have given up procrastination (or pro-craft-ination) for lent!

I made a couple of cards for a lady that has 2 new great-grandsons, and thought I'd share them. This was a card style that was popular MANY years ago, and every now and then, I feel the need to create one. Here's what I made:

As you know, we had to let our little Sophie cross that dreaded Rainbow Bridge on New Year's Day. Her groomer was as devastated as we were, so I made this card to share with her:

Some cute treat boxes I made at Christmas for the ladies at Card & a Cuppa.

Made this one at Card and a Cuppa this winter - thanks Sally McDonald!!!

Also made these at Card and a Cuppa - Thanks Shirley Hotop!!!

That's all for today, hope this finds you all well, and looking forward to spring! It's been busy here - one doctor appointment after another! Heck to get old, right?

Hugs,
Patti J.

Food for thought:

No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.

(I used to change this up a bit when the kids were in school. I'd tell them 'No can can ruin your day today, without your permission'.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Well, this year has flown by! Hope you are all ready for the holidays. We are looking forward to Christmas with daughter and her family, but sadly missing son and his family. Having them on two different coasts makes things hard sometimes.  We will fly to the other coast next month for a grandson's 4th birthday!

Thought I'd just share a few things that I've never gotten posted today.

This fun card was made at a Stampin' Up Card and Cuppa that I attend every 2nd and 4th Tuesday.
Sally McDonald heads this up, and we all have such a great time.  Here is the outside of this card:

And here is the inside:

Sally's daughter, Kim, came all the way from Hawaii to inspire us with this one!

Here is one of the styles of Christmas card I made. The stamps are Penny Black. The image was colored with Copic markers, and some 'stars' added with stickles. The sky was sponged using a make up brush.

I think all in all, I made 6 different styles this year. Here are the two boxes, ready to go. We either mailed or delivered 168 hand made cards. Whew....!

That's it for today!

Have a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Patti J.

A Card and a Cuppa

Good morning!

A very long time friend of mine recently retired, and is taking her Stampin'Up! business a bit
further, now that she has time that's not being spent creating lesson plans,
grading papers, preparing tests, etc.

Every other week, on Tuesday, she holds a mini workshop.

We meet a a local coffee shop, Coljac's, where we have a delicious cuppa (and their fabulous homemade treats), and we make a card...or 'some of us' finally stop at three!
You know how it is - it's always more fun to play with someone else's stamps, inks, and dies, right???

Anyhoo.  Here is what I made last Tuesday, with my friend, Sally McDonald's help and
never-ending table full of stamps, inks, bling....basically all things delightful to a
card-maker.

Hope you are having a great week!  Today is my birthday, and I spent the day
with my women's group at church - talk about blessings!!!

Happy Monday - get your glitter on!
