Wet or Dry (or wet AND dry) Embossing

Hi friends!

It's time for another Repeat Impressions Stamps challenge at The House that Stamps Built. Today's challenge is to use Wet or Dry Embossing'.

Here's what I made using these Repeat Impressions Stamps:

This was embossed with Tim Holts Embossing Glaze in the Speckled Egg color. I was so surprised to see the outcome. In real life, it looks like it's just wet! Like a tone on tone. And the glaze is SO shiny!
This photo shows the shine a bit better. I held it this way and that under my ott lite until I got it just so....

So easy, and what fun to make!

This was a fun challenge, and I hope you'll all join in!

We hope you will create a card that has a focus on today’s theme, and enter it in our challenge at The House that Stamps Built!  Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them!  Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!
One lucky person this month will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!

Check out my sidebar - grab the code to save money on your RI orders!

Now, it's time to see what my DT friends have created!

Happy Hopping!
Hope you link up a card this week!

Thanks for stopping by,

Wow this is beautiful, I didn't have a clue that there was an embossing paste to go with the distress oxide. The shine really pops out in the second photo.

That translucent shine is so pretty! I didn't really know about embossing glaze, so I had to hop over to YouTube and watch a couple of videos. Looks like fun stuff to use. You did a great job of showing how it can dress up a card.
