Hello!
So glad you stopped by today!
Here is the photo that we were given for
inspiration:
Yikes! This was a tough one for me. The photo is so pretty, but my brain went into an advanced stage of brain lock when I tried to create using this photo as inspiration.
I guess it's why they call it a challenge, right?????
Well, when looking at this photo, I was drawn to the woodgrain and the bird.
The image was stamped onto patterned paper and lightly colored.
It was matted on Kraft, then a yellow card base.
I left the sentiment off, not knowing what occasion this would be used for.
Now, it's your turn!
Come on over and join us in our Photo Inspiration Challenge!
If I
can do it, you can do it!!!
but if you do, you have double the chance
of winning!
I can't wait to see your beautiful cards using
this photo!!!
Now, it's time to see what my DT friends have
created!
Happy Hopping!
Hope you link up a card this week!
Thanks for stopping by,
Patti J.

Awesome take on the inspiration photo!
Love him - and great take on the photo challenge. Sometimes we do go into brain fade but I am "learning" more how to take the photo challenges.
Oh wow Patti, this is stunning! I love how you've cut strips of the wood grain background! Such a clever take on the inspiration my friend! HUGS
What a beautiful card and a great take on the inspiration photo.
Yikes indeed. I drew a blank when I saw the inspiration then I scrolled down and saw how you hit the nail on the head. What a terrific idea to create a wood background and using that bird. Way too perfect my friend!

When I saw this in the lineup I was in love! What a great take on this inspiration photo and stamping on dp was a perfectly creative idea. You always inspire me, my friend!
Wonderful job, I really like how you used this stamp. Thanks for the inspiration.
Wow, well you nailed that challenge, that heron image is fab! We have a couple nesting in our local park and they're amazing when you see them fishing in the river.
Gorgeous card, Patti! Love the idea of stamping on DSP. I need to think about what papers and stamps I could use for that technique.
Fantastic take on the photo. Love the bird and the wood grain background... so creative.

Hugs,
