Let's Get Together...

Good Morning! I hope that you are all enjoying a beautiful Sunday morning.
***
It's been very quiet here. DD is off to try a new contemporary church in this area, but being Father's Day, I'm trying to dote on/spoil DH a little bit, so I stayed in with him. He's not feeling real perky. I'll be relieved when all of these tests of his are done!
***
Today's card is for the Etsy Challenge over at Heart Hugs Designs. Again, there is a wonderful Etsy store, The Potato Patch, and the challenge was to pick out something to inspire a card. I loved all of the cute things (after all, I totally AM a granny-wannabe), but here is the one that I picked.
***
The leaf stamp is from PSX, and the sentiment is a Kolette Hall from the $1 bin at Michael's. The ink is Memories, Cherry Red, and CS is DCWV. Talk about a clean and simple card! I don't think any details are needed for this one!
***
By the way, Chat Dump Girl, this is a virtual invitation for you!!! July ??? Let me know after the 1st when you will be in town - my treat - Pad Thai??? Pasta House??? 12 West??? Your choice!
***
I just realized that I have a swap that is due (must be delivered by July 1st to Florida!), so my job for today is to brainstorm. The theme is "summer", so it should be an easy one!
***
Take care my friends - have a relaxing and safe Father's Day, and God Bless all of those dear dads out there. If you still have a dad, spoil him rotten!

~It is admirable for a dad to take his son fishing, but there's a special place in heaven for the dad who takes his daughter shopping! (Sorry about all of the ***'s - I could not get the paragraphs to space this a.m. Hope this works!) Just checked again - it didn't, so we are stuck with whatever we get today! Arggghhhh.....

No need to add anything more on the card, it's perfect.
I have a lot of feelings today and i feel like it's an invitation for peace. I just love it!

Oh, what fun! This is a great interpretation of your inspiration piece! It's fun to play along with the etsy challenge and see what you can come up with! Well done!
Hope hubby feels a little perkier as the day goes on! And you'll have to let us know what you're daughter thought of the new church!
take care
Blessings, Maria

What a great take on a Canadian classic...hehe. But truly I love that you could see it and create it. I'm usually just inspired by colors or if I'm inspired to do something like this I don't have the necessary supplies!
Hope your day was a good one, and you found summer inspiration.

I Love Canada! Okay, I've only been to Vancouver and Toronto, but both were awesome trips and I'm dying to go back and explore some more of that beautiful country with all the nice friendly people.

My long winded way of saying awesome card Patti! You nailed the inspiration piece.

I hope your husband feels better soon. I shall keep him in my prayers... and you, too.

Hugs,
Lisa

P.S. I hope we get together someday, too!

Love red - it is one of my favorite colors and the red really pops this leaf. Very nice.

What a great card! I love how the piercing gives it just enough "extra" - and it's just a perfect interpretation, of course!

Thank you so much for playing the EIC this week!
