Happy Halloween...

Welcome to a new 'What If Wednesday' sketch challenge for Repeat Impressions Stamps!  We have another great sketch by Wendy to share with you today.

Here is Wendy's Sketch:

And here is my card:
Repeat Impressions Stamps (2323W Halloween Cobweb) (2322W Black Cat), Reminisce "You Don't Scare Me" DP, Authentique "Glowing" DP, Fiskar's Deckle Scissors, Zig Pen, CS from stash, Stickles, Bat Dies from Amuse, Spider Punch is Studio G. from Michael's.

I had all sorts of ideas about flipping this sketch so that the rounded panel would be 'grass' at the bottom, but 'someone' must have snuck in when I wasn't looking and glued the bats at the bottom of the panel.  Hmmm....Funny how a card evolves from a mistake!

Let's see what YOU can do with this fun sketch!  All of the challenge details can be found at the Repeat Impressions Blog, The House That Stamps Built.  You could be a lucky winner!

What do I appreciate?

Hi Stampers!

It's Thursday! Hang in there, peeps, Friday's just around the corner!

So...Are you curious about my title?
Well, I decided to play along with the Wednesday challenge at All That Scraps this week.
The challenge was to use ATS stamps, AND to make paper buttons.
Ha ha, my buttons looked like little purple aliens!
So...I one hundred percent appreciate my grandmother's button jar! Absolutely no doubt!
Whew. Thought I'd never get that Baker's Twine through those alien eyes :)

All coloring is with Copic markers, and all DP is Reminisce. I'm also going to enter this in the sketch challenge at Reminisce this week. Here's the sketch!

Hope she makes you smile - I only have one Magnolia image! Hmmm....there are flowers, lots of flowers, there are summery colors, and she's all dressed up in summery, sheer fabric, with eyelet trim, I think I shall go ahead and enter her in the ATS Magnolia challenge too!
The theme is: "Hot, Hot, Days of Summer".

Have a good day - I'll be around to visit this evening - have a bit of housework to do today!

Take care,
Patti J.

Food for thought:
At the end of the day, when you feel tired, is it because you 'growled' all day?

Remember Me?

Goodness! It's been a while since I've posted. I've been pretty caught up in finishing some wedding favors. You all know how that is!

This bride rocks! Of the 20+ samples that I took to her, plus a little notebook full of ideas, she liked and chose the easiest two of all.

The DP she chose was a double sided satin stripe by Reminisce. As you all know, I live in a very rural area - no Michael's, Hobby Lobby's, etc., within 65 miles, to find this paper. I got on-line, and went directly to Reminisce. OMG, talk about nice people! I dealt Meagan, who rocked my world! Not only did she let me order an odd number of sheets, but she sent them FedEx so that they'd be here in time! AND...there were a few extra sheets in the box!

Shown above, is what is leaving the house today, so that I can begin working on my next project - an Elmo Birthday Party for a soon to be 2 year old! Anyone with any wonderful Elmo projects, please let me know, as I'm open to suggestions!!! I will post photos of the favors up close after Saturday's wedding. PLEASE ignore my messy desk!!!

Hope you all have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope I'll have some time today to do some blog hopping - I've missed you!

Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.
