Get Well Challenge at The House that Stamps Built

 Hi there, crafty friends!

It's time for another Repeat Impressions Stamps challenge at The House that Stamps Built. Wendy has challenged us to use a theme of 'Get Well' this week.

Here's what I made using these
Repeat Impressions Stamps:

I stamped the Vertical flowers twice, leaving room in the center for the sentiment. An edge punch finished the top and bottome edges of the focal panel. The last addition was a couple pieces of Washi tape. I like the way this turned out!

This was a fun challenge, and I hope you'll all join in! We all need Get Well cards in our stash!

We hope you will create a card that has a focus on today’s theme, and enter it in our challenge at The House that Stamps Built!  Remember, your creation does not have to be made with Repeat Impressions stamps, but if you would like to include our designs we would love to see them!  Plus, there’s an added bonus… you will get an additional entry in our random.org drawing for using our stamps in your submissions!
One lucky person this month will win a $25 Repeat Impressions Gift Certificate!

Check out my sidebar - grab the code to save money on your RI orders!

Now, it's time to see what my DT friends have created!

Inspiration Palette Challenge at The House that Stamps Built

Happy Wednesday!

It's the first inspiration challenge for the month, the year, and the decade for Repeat Impressions Stamps!  It’s challenge day at the Repeat Impressions blog, The House that Stamps Built, and we have a new Inspiration Palette Challenge for you. Here is the Inspiration Palette that Wendy gave us this week:

I was drawn in immediately by these colors and the pattern that the rosettes made. It was hard for me to not look at this photo and try to reproduce exactly what I see (well, in my simple mind's way, anyway!).

Here's what I made using this Repeat Impressions Stamp:

Hope you like it!

Great Impressions June Challenge

June? Seriously?
Yep!
And here we are with a new monthly challenge at Great Impressions.

Our challenge this month is 'Anything Goes'.

Peerless watercolors were used for the background. The bear and flowers were colored with Copic markers. The bear was then smooshed with a piece a towel with some colorless blender, for a raggedy effect. He was adhered to the card front with dimensional foam. Flowers were stamped a second time, colored, fussy cut, and adhered directly over the stamped image.

Hope you like this little guy!
Now....create something fun, and link up to our Anything Goes challenge!
We hope you will use your Great Impressions Stamps!!!

If you do use GI stamps be sure to link up to the customer gallery HERE.

Be sure to stop by the Great Impressions store HERE and treat yourself to a few new stamps!

Did you know shipping is free over $25?!

Get Well Louie!

Happy Saturday!
So glad you could drop by today!

I was in need of a get well card, so my post today features some fun get well stamps

I used Get Well Louie G520, and Just Duckin' C476 for this fun little
center easel card.

To create this card, I covered the card front with some designer paper from an old DCWV pad, and set it aside.

The image was then stamped on white cardstock twice, and once on each of three patterned papers.

One of the white panels was used as my base.

The other white panel was where I colored the Louie, and fussy cut all of his pieces!
The beak and feet have glossy accents on them.

Also fussy cut, were the bed frames, pillow, and blanket.

Once the pieces were all cut, they were adhered to the white panel, trimmed, and matted.

Once I knew what size the focal panel was, I cut the card front on each end, and glued the small side strips down on the card, leaving the center section swinging free.  It was scored in half, and the
focal panel adhered to it.

The last step was to stamp and mat the sentiment.
It was adhered to the card using dimensional foam, and happily holds the easel piece upright!

Here is a photo showing the card flat for mailing in an A2 envelope.

Don't forget - about the GI challenges!
A brand new challenge for April went live last week.
If you use GI stamps be sure to link up to the customer gallery (HERE)

Get Well

Hi there!

It's a brisk Tuesday morning, and I'm here with a post for Die-Versions today.
My package for November came, and this Get Well die was one of the new items.
I couldn't wait to create with it!  Here's what I made:

Die-Versions "Get Well" CutOut DV-419, Die-Versions "Pretty Wings" Whispers DVW-383

For the Butterfly, I first die cut the entire butterfly from the blue cardstock.  I saved the butterfly for another project (yay!!!) and die cut it again from black cardstock.  I put some score tape across the back of the blue sheet, turned it over, and added the black butterfly.  Fine irridescent glitter was sprinkled on top of the butterfly, catching all of the spots that were just 'tape'.

The Get Well is fabulous alone, or with an image, or another die.  It was die cut from blue, and matted with black.  I intended to trim the top layer, and mat it in black also, but simply forgot! Do any of you have days like that?

Hope you like it - it's such a joy working with these dies. Not only do they cut like butter, but they are coated with something magic that allows the dies to fall out so easily.  The butterfly is so intricate, that I do have to 'help' it a bit, but it's a favorite!

Hope you'll become a follower of the Die-Versions Blog, and do some shopping at the Website!

Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs,
Patti J.
