Pop It!

Hello :)

Flourishes posted a new challenge yesterday - a Noon-Time Challenge!  The challenge is to "Pop It" - add some dimension to your projects by popping them up.  I used two sets "Signs of Spring" and "I Love Roses" (lol...remember I only own two Flourishes sets, so I do a lot of improvising with them...) to make a gift tag. I am always in need of something to enclose with a gift to a chemo patient, or hang on a gift tag!
Gift Card is 3.5" x 3.5".  Used Flourishes Signs of Spring, and I Love Roses Stamps
This view shows the oval panel is popped up, and the rose is popped up. I stamped, colored, and cut out just the small center of the rose, and popped it up also. Lots of dimension in this wee tag!
Hope you are enjoying your day. It's another pretty day here.

Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.

Always...

It's a beautiful morning in Missouri - hope it's nice where you are!

Short post today - lots to do :)  Today's card is for the Timeless Tuesday #172 Challenge at Flourishes. The challenge hostess is Amanda, and she asked that we make a white card with lace and/or pearls.  What fun, and such a perfect challenge, as I only have two sets of Flourishes stamps (which have been used over and over and over), and they happen to be floral themed sets. I'm hoping my doily will count for the 'lace'.

Flourishes "I Love Roses" image and sentiment, Gina K. Designs Pure Luxury CS Heavyweight for base, layering weight for image and embossed panel, Stampin' Up! Square Lattice embossing folder, White Doily from Dollar Tree, Pearls from my scrap box, Really Reasonable Ribbon, Dimensional Squares, and Copic Markers YG61, YG63, R20, R00

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I'll be 'pedaling' (hint, hint) back here on Saturday with a couple of extremely CAS cards that I cased from a friend....see you then!

Smiles,
Patti J.

For You...

Good evening,

To read my Memorial Day post, please scroll down.

I had certainly not planned on a second post today. However, I realized that I'd never posted my card for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge, and it's down to the 22 hour countdown!  Beate was the hostess for this challenge, and she asked that we use flowers on our projects.

I had a lot going on this week, so this card is very clean and simple. And...self-explanatory! If you would like any info, let me know.  Otherwise, I will see you back here tomorrow with a Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week!

Have a great evening,

Patti J.

Goin' to the Chapel....

Hi to all!

Thirty nine years ago today, DH and I were Goin' to the Chapel, and we were Gonna Get Married... now I have you ALL singing, right?  Good! Singing is good for the soul, as is having spent the last 39 years with my best friend. Anyway, we do have an anniversary today, so this will be another short post.  Hope that you are all enjoying some blessings this weekend as well!

Stamps: Flourishes "I Love Roses", Copic Markers, DP: Simple Stories "Happy Day", Ribbon from my stash

I have a card to share today for the Timeless Tuesday challenge #163, at Flourishes.  Again, I've improvised, as I don't have any Happy Birthday themed Flourishes stamps!  I did, however, have a gorgeous set of stamps, "I Love Roses", and a wonderful paper pad from Simple Stories, "Happy Day". If you look closely, I used a border from the paper pack for my birthday sentiment!  Color, cut, paste, Voila!

Have a great weekend!  We start the day out at 6:30 a.m. Sunrise service, so if I don't see you tomorrow, Happy Easter, as well!

Hugs and smiles!

Chicks Stick Together

Mornin' peeps!

Short post today - DH and I are having a DATE!!!  Woot woot!

Today's card features a stamp set "Signs of Spring" from Flourishes.  I created this for the 'Bring Back Beautiful' challenge at Flourishes. The theme is "The Beauty of Friendship".

Supplies: Flourishes stamps, Copic Markers, Simple Stories 'Generations' Collection DP, DieNamic Cloud Dies

Now promise me - don't laugh! I only have 2 Flourishes stamp sets, and neither of them has a friendship stamp, so I improvised :)  Gotta love improvisation...

I'm also entering this at the Twisted Tuesday Challenges - the challenge is to use non-stamped cloud(s) and this cloud fits - it's a die!

Have a great weekend!

Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.

First of Many...

Good morning!  Hopefully, you've all had a wonderful and restful weekend.

I'm so happy to be out from under the blanket, AND posting on here today!

Don't anyone faint, but I've actually created a card this morning for a challenge.  It's also a challenge I've never tried before, using Flourishes' stamps, which I've never stamped with before, (thanks to a wonderful blogging friend!)   and I am hopelessly addicted already.

Today's card features the Flourishes "I Love Roses" Set #40.  I'm entering it in the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge 147Silke Ledlow is the hostess and here is her sketch...

And here is my card...
Supplies: Kraft CS, My Mind's Eye 'Lost & Found Christmas' DP, Flourishes 'I Love Roses', Copic Markers, Tim Holtz 'Antique Linen' Distress Ink, Nestabilities 'Classic Circles', Offray Ribbon
Isn't it nice when an amazing image, and an amazing paper pad make following a sketch so easy?  Ha ha...I'm barely squeaking this card in to the challenge, as it's due by 6 p.m. tonight.  Whew.... naps have been the priority for the last 4.5 days!

Have a great day, and a wonderful week - I'm planning to do a lot of catch-up blurfing tonight, so prepare to be stalked!

Hugs and blessings,
Patti J.
