Happy Friday!

Happy Friday! Yikes! I just realized that it's Friday, the 13th! I know that you're having a super-wonderful day! I am too!

Here's a few more items from my stash - if you ever have questions, let me know and I'll try to answer them!

I think the stamps, paper and tree die is Stampin' Up. The deer are Memory Box or Poppy Stamps.

Made this one with scraps for our grandson. Sadly, he never got it. It was in a package sent to him via UPS, and it's 'lost'.  Well...we know where it landed - in Palo something or other California, at a UPS center, but it's apparently not moved since August. Bah...

Our son and bonus daughter had an anniversary. Couldn't resist a funky chicken card for them!
Hope it gave them a few giggles!

The next 5 cards were special ordered by someone. She wanted some 'pretty' and some funny.

I made 6 of these for a fall card swap that I was in.

This was a fall card swap that I received

Here is the 2nd swap card I received

Here's the 3rd card I received

And the 4th...

5th...

and 6th...

This one, we made at Card and Cuppa in October.

Stampin' Up! products

Stan got a ride to the airport from a friend of ours in our church family. He has a big pickup truck, but drove his wife's smaller SUV that day. Stan had some really BIG bags, as he took out all of the winter coats, gloves, boots, sweatshirts, etc.  Found this fun image, and ran with it.

One last card today. A card making friend passed away, and her husband wanted her creative friends to have her stamps. This was a set from The Stamps of Life. We have friends at church that raise Llama's, and this was too cute not to grab. Hope she liked it!!!

That's all for today!
Have a blessed weekend, and I'll be back on the 20th with another photo heavy post!

Hugs,
Patti J.

Thinking of You

Hello!

I have a pretty card to share today!

For this card, I smeared some colors of Distress Oxide Inks, spritzed them with water, and 'smooshed' my stamped panel, using #S941 Pile of Leaves, into the ink puddles, until I got the aged and weathered effect that I was trying to achieve. The sentiment, from the #SS02b Simple Sentiments Set 2, Style b set, was stamped in black ink on the same color cardstock as the card base. The focal panel and sentiment were layered onto the card base.

Super easy! Give it a try!

So glad you stopped by today!

In All Things of Nature

Hello!
I have a pretty card to share today!

I started with a Kraft base, and 3 strips of patterned paper scraps. I adhered the paper strips to the card, spacing them equally. Then, I used my score board to score lines over the entire card. After the base was finished, I stamped #SS138 Leaf Corner Sentiments, Set of 3 with Brown Memento Ink. I turned the card base, and stamped again, creating a frame for the sentiment (also stamped in brown). The image was distressed a bit, fussy cut, and popped up on the card base using dimensional squares. A few dots of glossy accents here and there finished this card nicely!
