Hello, friends!
I'm excited to be guest designing for Blue Knight Rubber Stamps for the month of October!
I got to work with this company last year and I very much enjoyed creating with their beautiful, high quality stamps. I was eager to get started with the fun stamps that Lynn Anderson sent me this month.
I was asked to use each stamp set in two different ways. My first card is stamped and colored right out of the package, with no embellishing. Isn't is a sweet image? All coloring is done with Copic Markers, and the highlights are done with a white gel pen. After the image was stamped and colored, I gently blended on the sky, and blended a second time with the same blue Distress Oxide Ink, but used an oval stencil to sort of 'frame' the cute little critter.
This second card uses the same stamp set, but with some changes, to make the two cards look different. I used a cloud stencil to give the sky an evening look, changed up the color of the Koala, and used no white gel pen on any of the image.
Hope this inspires you to check out the Blue Knight Rubber Stamps Blog (link below) for more inspiration from the design team!

So beautiful! LOVING the koala!!!!
That koala image is stunning and you've done such a brilliant job showcasing it on both of your designs here! Love that purple background! HUGS
Two fantastic koala cards, like the oval frame in the first and the lovely clouds in the second to go with this sweet image!
Both projects are beautiful! I think the first one (no clouds) is my favorite! Congratulations on getting to work with them again! The Koala image is adorable and your treatment of it is quite nice!

That koala image is adorable, and I love the way you changed up your coloring. It really resulted in two very different cards. Those purple clouds look so cool. I'm beginning to think I "need" a cloud stencil. I've been using a torn piece of cardstock to create my clouds.
Your cards are beautifully designed.
Love the two different koala cards - and they look entirely different with just changing the background up a bit. Aren't you loving that cloud stencil?
